Sentai that you hate but everyone else loves or vice versa
 

Title says it all

One series that I hate but everyone else loves is Magiranger. The characters aren't interesting. Pink ranger is extremely annoying and the series itself is just slow paced.

Vice versa one series that I love but everyone else seems to hate is Go-busters. It's a great series with some very dark elements. I also love Enter and Escape.

I'm with you on Go-buster, but I must admit it's not my favourite.

Goseiger is my favourite sentai and although there are more people that like it on here than those who don't, in terms of the general fandom Goseiger is not all that popular.

I absolutely hate Dairanger, it's the very worst sentai series I have seen and although not so much on this forum, it seems much beloved in the general fandom.

Also I liked Go-Busters, it was a mess but the core dynamic with the team was fantastic and made the show a more than worthwhile watch.

I love Go-Busters. It tried something new, even if it was different.

Ultimately that is the main reason Go-Busters should be appreciated, even if you don't like it. In a series where for thirty four seasons they basically redressed the same show over and over again, a show like Go-Busters which reworks the formula from the ground up should be celebrated.

Gokaiger and Kyoryuger.
Both of them sucked hard, in my opinion, but they seem to be the crown jewels, the measuring stick for what a "Good Sentai" is considered to be in this fandom, so *Shrugs*

I think thankfully Kyoryuger had a lot of revisionism by the time it ended. But yeah for the first twenty or so episodes the fandom was eating shit out of it's hands and screaming *lalala* over the top of the flaws. And I kinda get it, the show had a lot of potential and that can make you want to like a show a lot more than you actually do and it's frustrating. That happened to me with Dragon Knight.

Kyoryuger and Zyuranger for sure. Although with Zyu it's less I hate it and more think it's just incredibly overrated. Sun Vulcan too because apparently that's popular even though it's mostly awful.

As for the reverse? Count me in with the Go-Busters love.

I am going to say it now: I despise Gokaiger. I'll be leaving now *runs from the angry mob*
