Not much to say about 40 IMO. Kai learned a good lesson from Houka. Sphinx shows that while she is an evil god, she believes in following their rules and won't tolerate underhandedness. Also we learn that Blagel is sill alive though everyone probably saw that coming.

41 and 42 are more my speed. Any Sentai that doesn't take it easy on Christmas is a good one in my book. And taking on Drake was definitely not taking it easy when he was beating them effortlessly and they could barely harm him outside of hitting his weak spot. Snowgel kicking ass was great. Hikaru learning from Kai was a good character moment. He was getting caught up in overthinking the battles with the Hades Gods so learning that sometimes you just have to act was really nice. Finally, seeing Wolkentaros/kaiser vs. Sleipnir again was fun. That's always been one of my favorite fights in the series.

40: Houka and Kai switcheroo reaches an end while Sphynx shows how cool she is.
It wasn't spectacular, but it was entertaining and Blagel is back!
Found Gorgon to be particulary unnerving this week for some reason.

It was a great set of episodes to set up the final episodes and the endgame.

41-42: That's more like it! A Hikaru two-parter that seems to be setting us up for the final stretch.
Blagel's role continues to develop, Snowgel reappear ready to teach Hikaru a lesson and in general it had good action scenes too.
Pretty cool.
