Supposedly this story will visit the kaiju homeworld. Some characters will return, some details will be left ambiguous in case another movie is approved.

I kept wondering how they'd handle it, but it looks good. One thing the first movie needed was a deeper exploration into the kaijus.

The "teaser poster" in question is just some image from a fan-run Pacific Rim Facebook page, not the official, verified Pacific Rim page for the movie. Lot of people have made the same mistake with the Twitter account as well, as it's not the Legendary Pictures-run account either. Gotta keep an eye out for details like that as to whether you're actually being fed fan-driven hype or something legitimately new.

The interview stuff is, of course, still relevant.

I loved the first movie, really looking forward to the sequel. Hopefully it'll be just as good as the original.
