My thoughts of if Saban/other adapts Akibaranger.
My very first thread.
Hello, I have my own thoughts of what if Saban gets Akibaranger and adapt it into a America version. I heard it will end at the 29th (Last episode will be a recap episode.) and I'm considering to check out Go-Busters. I'm going to watch it up 12 episodes before the week they'll release the recap episode. http://www.jefusion.com/2012/06/akib...pisode-13.html It's about three comic book fans, and their commander stays at the place with many action figures, comic books, and super hero movies. It'll be trivia of all Power Rangers series (from first to current). I think Comedy Central, MTV, Spike, or G4 should air it and make it a content warning to warn kids not to watch this and it should be enjoyed by adults. Maybe at night... It should be last, just like Code Monkeys and Spaceballs Animated series on G4. They can put this on DVD after they finished airing on TV. It's called Power Rangers: Unofficial Force, only one season until it ends. It's my own thoughts about the American adaption. |
While I highly doubt that Saban would go for it, if they were to go for it, your version would most likely be the format that would work. Great first post! :)

no way abikaranger not come to usa
there young kids are power rangers fans too |
Akibaranger could work as a late-night thing; agreed.
Would need some good writers to adapt it though, I'd say. People who can handle stuff that's insane, offensive, and needs to be funny. |

Well, this is obviously the perfect show for Adult Swim. The only problem would be dubbing Malshina, but that could easily be worked in as a joke/reference in itself.

If they're worried about kids watching it because of the Power Rangers branding, then they could keep the Akibaranger name. That way it would still have "Ranger" in the title so that the U.S. audience would understand that its a related series...although as long as its aired late at night and with the proper warning labels, I don't see why it would be a problem.
