I hoped they would’ve given his gear a darker, more evil voice. The whole “Wow wow”-stuff sounds very unfitting, especially now where he’s the biggest threat for the Zyuohgers. And even later when he’s an ally, it would’ve been cool to have some different sounds.

Something like the Mega Ulorder maybe, the sounds are very different from the Ghost Driver and Ghost/Specters weapons.

The standby jingle is cool though.

if he was a complete villian by choice, then it would make sense to for the sounds to be more evil but he's not, he's just a puppet like necrom specter, so it makes no sense to make the sounds evil, since it's probably going to last at least 3 to 4 episodes and they cant make different sounds it would just drive the cost more and the stuff will be laying on the shelves.

Genis (or a member of his crew) made the gear though, they’re evil, right?

And maybe "evil" was a bad choice of words, serious or simply different would do it too. As I said, the Mega Ulorder sounds really different form the rest of the toys but Alain becomes a good guy too and it’s no problem so…

Yeah the sounds are a tad dissappointing. Could be a case of them not knowing yet how the character would turn out when they designed the toys.

My thoughts and idea on the "WHOA WHOA" sound effect: that's just inherently what the Champion Cubes do. Genis and Company could've tried to make it less... That... But every attempt showed the Tarzany voice and howl was intrinsic to the Cube and they couldn't override it completely.

Yeah I guess you're right. I just wish the tainted nature of the gear would've had some influence on the sounds. Maybe just a slighty different voice.

I think it's just because they have to play the long game.
It wouldn't make sense for Zyuoh The World to have corrupt and evil sounding weapons while a hero, and they know kids wouldn't get 2 sets of identical toys with minor changes to the electronics.
