Do you think that power rangers(or super sentai) will ever have another kid ranger?
 

As I've been watching old sentai, I've noticed a lot of things different between sentai then and sentai now. One of those things is the lack of children in Sentai nowadays. Watching Kakuranger, I've seen more children in the first 15 episodes or so then I've seen in the entirety of say...Ninninger.

While I'm pretty indifferent to this, it does raise a question. Is there a reason why children don't really appear anymore? or does the amount of children, or one off characters in general, that appear in a show just vary based on the writer? Maybe its because more recent Sentai care more about plot then older Sentai?

Concerning the question in the title, weren't the ToQgers children?

...besides the Toqgers. I also may need to edit the topic title. I put the title in first but I ended up ranting about something else that was simply related.

Edit: Concerning the question in the title a bit more specifically though, do you guys think that Super Sentai(or Power Rangers) will ever have another kid ranger? and I don't mean like the Toqgers, who were physically adults under normal circumstances for most of the series.

There was that ShinkenRed kid one off from Gokaiger.

I think he's more concerned about the lack of children characters in Sentai as a whole, rather than kid rangers.

It might be because laws regarding child actors are stricter now then in the 90s at least in the States they are.

I think it's possible -- nay, inevitable -- that we'll have another child sentai member one day.

I agree with that though he'll probably be an extra ranger rather then a primary or sixth ranger.
