Godzilla Anime Cast Revealed
 

So we've gotten some news on what voice actors will be involved in the Godzilla Anime project that was announced last year in addition to a new piece of concept art.

Kobun Shizuno and Hiroyuki Seshita will be helming the project as the director in addition to six well known voice actors: Yuki Kaji, Takahiro Sakurai, Tomokazu Sugita, Junichi Suwabe, Kana Hanazawa, and Mamoru Miyano

More will be announced at Anime Japan 2017.

I'm not familiar with any of the VA names, so I can't coment on that, but I will say that I really like the look of the new concept art. Looks like this will be unlike anything Godzilla related that already exists.

That said, I'm a little dissapointed that it's apparently been announced that it'll be a movie rather than a series. I was kinda hoping for it to be a series. Though either way, as long as we get a good English dub of it, I'll be happy. I'm not counting on it, but I'm still kinda hoping they do a dub of Shin Godzilla at some point...

Sakurai was Jealousit from Gokaiger, Sugita was Demushu from Gaim, Suwabe is the narrator on Ex-Aid, Miyano was Ultraman Zero's voice.

Since Shin Godzilla work well with Funimation, I can see Toho letting Funimation release future new Japanese movies.

Yeah... I haven't watched a single one of those...:D
