Umika's new friend confesses her crush on Officer Keiichiro! Could love be on the horizon between the teams???

17 episodes in, and I still really love this season.

Yellow is more and more likely going to be the one to bring the teams together as one with all the things she does to help everyone.

Umika is probably my favorite, since it seems even Keiichiro is connecting with her. I also liked that he's starting to grow suspicious. Finally~

As for the episode, I do rather like Keiichiro straight up acknowledging he's awkward.

I liked this episode. This was like one of the few times I could tell what the Gangler was. Also, what is it with Japanese culture linking Tapers to sleep/hypnotism?

Classic monster, the Baku, a dream eating spirit, shares it's name with the Tapir. Just like the giraffe and Kirin.
Don't know how, though.

Umika's probably the best Ranger so far as she's the only one actively helping out the other time multiple times, like a few episodes ago when she randomly threw the blade to help them. Guess the 7th ranger will bring out more behaviour like that

Finally the ice eater is back. Lupin is falling in to fillers for a while. So many characters wasted before like Bird's secrets from zyuohger with very rush reveal. It would be a cool twist if the ice gangler is the 7th ranger that doesn't reveal his face. We haven't had a abarekiller for a while.

Closest would be Gekiranger where the kinda black and green rangers are the main antagonists for most of the series, they are called geki black and green by the main red though even if officially not part of their team like Abarakiller they where still required for the utimate mech, which was only used once during the main run.

Gekiranger had great main villains.

Last I heard it was because some diplomat from the Ming dynasty thought it resembles the mythical beast kirin/qilin during his trip to Africa. Not joking.
