And here's my biggest problem with Yggdrasil's plan I neglected to menton:

How is torching the city going to stop helheim, exactly? Because, uh, it's safe in another dimension. Seems like all the laser-grid would do is just kill everyone innocent and leave helhiem totally unscathed.
