The five sentai archetypes, while repeated almost every year in sentai, follow Shinkenger more closely than other casts even down to Chiaki and Nagi's jacket style with numerous badges.

Shinkenger used samurai to illustrate a story about loyalty to one another, which would also work great with disciplined ninja. When Ninninger's characters were announced to be family, it sounded full of potential. But most of the episodes don't show these characters acting like family - the characters talk about being related to one another, but there's no sense of caring for one another like in Magiranger. ToQGer felt more like a family than these guys.

I done watching this show can't wait for the 40th Sentai to start.

We're FORTY-ONE episodes in and the story hasn't really progressed at all. They're no closer to the role of Last Ninja and the Big Bad of the season is barely a footnote to the action.
