Wow, I am really impressed right now. I hope this turns out good.

This adds into the whole "Zyuohger will be skipped" idea and personally, the Great King Sword which serves as the head of ZyuohKing and the "Minecraft-like" appeal of ZyuohKing's chest were always gonna be a problem in my book. I wish Zyuohger would be adapted in a small capacity so they could use the Gokaiger two-parter, but this is so far out there that Saban's people will probably maintain a watchful eye. PR has always maintained a watchful eye, but when one fails their expectations and another fulfills them more ideally, then the eye tends to gaze with greater intent. Somehow, the increased numbers make sense. The numbers in "Extra Heroes" have steadily increased over the years and doesn't "Kyuu" mean "nine"? If Sentai is suffering from mediocrity, then a different appeal and theme is needed to revitalize interest. Also, Saban and Co. would have to hire more people than the standard five to count with this one!

Now some thoughts on both the Sentai and a theoretical PR adaptation:

- Kyuuranger will have some team-ups with Space-themed Toku. Fourze will likely become one of the most prominent.

- Kyuuranger will likely have stories which remind us that the numbers are larger this time. With so many right-off the bat, little time for filler. Some characters might be less explored

- Kyuuranger will either have more or less than the average number of auxiliaries in terms of Mecha. More for the sake of toys, but less since they have to accommodate ALL the Rangers.

- Plenty of possibilities for in-fighting among the team. Probably will see some discord.

- Power-ups and other Rangers are gonna be tricky here. If we truly have nine to start with, does ANYONE qualify as a "Sixth Ranger"?

- PR might have less original elements to compensate for the increased use of original footage and actors.

- PR should consider using elements from older seasons, like In Space and S.P.D., and given the advent of Dekaranger 10 Yrs. After and the upcoming Gavan vs. Dekaranger, it's entirely possible that something might be considered. The team-ups need to be used more, either from Toei releasing restrictions or Saban shelling-out the money to obtain the rights.

- Kids don't always know the Constellations. Hell, even I don't know or understand all of the Constellations. Saban's gonna have fun with this one without turning it into "Power Rangers: Horoscope Discovery" or some bull like that!

- Nick might want to give Saban some more leeway in scheduling to deal with some of the complexities in modulating character development and following the Kyuuranger timing.

- Saban might want to use this as an excuse to explore some of the PR-exclusive planets throughout franchise history. A return to Aquitar, Mirinoi, and KO-35, and Onyx, and even Eltar?

- Bandai of America will seriously need to learn the difference between "quantity" and "quality" with this one!

Lemme clear something up real quick. Just because we separate the Zodiac from the constellations does not make them Not constellations. They are still constellations. The zodiac is just a grouping of constellations for purposes such as birthdays, holidays, season telling, etc., etc.. Just because they are called the Zodiac doesn't mean that they're not constellations. They still are. People just forget that they are because of the fact that they are grouped together and given a different label.

the cubes just wouldnt work with the shit Zord Builder system

It is obvious Zyuohger will not be adapted into Power Rangers because:

1. No gimmick to use like batteries or keys, I am sure that's why they didn't do Gobuster.
2. How the hell would BoA be able to do the zord builder system with a bunch of cubes? They would either have to make them parts form, make them into legos, or make the zords bigger in scale with some extreme design changes.

Also any guesses if the zords will be themed ships, actual creatures, or both like Go-onger, Goseiger, and Gobuster?

Are you kidding? Zyuohger makes the most obvious candidate for a PR series given the popularity of Minecraft. Hell, they could make a Minecraft PR game with it.

Minecraft is part of the problem! Think about it, anything popular is just a competitor to crushed in Saban's book! Plus, Minecraft and blocks and the near-childish designs of the Cube Animals like Cube Eagle or Cube Lion just don't fully fit with the established aesthetics of PR! The suits aren't the most popular, but that's minor compared to the Mecha. DX ZyuohKing is one of the smallest primary combinations there is, and the transformation between show and toy is severely lacking and inconsistent! Bandai of America would butcher it heavily, and the innuendo that has been implied with the Great King Sword makes it even harder. I'll admit that there are some elements that could be made to work, but I wouldn't even try to adapt the whole thing if I were part of the "Make-a-New-PR-Team" conception group!

I have a mighty need for higher res images of this team. They look fantastic.... I think.

Except anything like Minecraft that isn't Minecraft fails miserably because Minecraft is so distinct in people's minds.

Not to mention that's a fusion of demographics that just won't crossover.

Oh for fuck's sake, what about Zordbuilder is "shit?" Especially in comparison to the bloody cubes?
