Now that I think about it, third. Second worst was Hibiki's and #1 worst was Agito's.

Weird i wasn't into the series because i was too young while it aired, but the movie set in alternate past wow me.

I really liked Ghost and Hibiki's movies myself, particularly the latter! I thought they were great bookends for the seasons, with Ghost's nailing its core themes and Hibiki largely being a wonderful little look into the past. Agito's was a fun little jaunt too!

5 riders? There's 6 on the poster? Unless its the quarter 1 big bad rider like.
The lore was interesting, but they butchering it after ending first wish to make an alternate world with "alien humans worship the eye god, which went nowhere" the whole invasion was pathetic. Better hope its more like gaim then ghost. I expect some stakes and sacrificed no exaid like cop out friendship revival.





I think yaiba ruined and jeopardize it. We're back to allies only. 01 script outdone yaiba and expectation never been satisfy and plot line never recovered after quarter 1 01 .

Ah maybe decade show up in movies again if we're dealing with dimensions. Worlds. I'm confused. It's the world they're living in part of the book or they go in the Fanatsy myth historical lore etc like wizard enter a person's inner mind.

Wonder 01 will make more v cinema since summer moves are cancelled, but what wil happen to the toys that they planned ahead in advance.

Ghost's movie had a lot of inconsistencies such as Argos having Takeru's corpse and somehow using it as leverage, Darwin having OP power based on a theory and EX-Aid showing up on a planet full of dead people. Argos' goal felt like a ripoff of Daido's.

Hibiki's movie barely featured any of the main characters, instead focusing on a bunch of lookalikes who I have no incentive to care about.

Agito's movie tried too hard to be connected to the show while being unrelated to the story and it was darker than it needed to be, even for Inoue.

I'm glad you enjoyed them though.

To be fair on Hibiki movie, the film take place in the past and there’s no way the film can put main characters in the past for no reasons. (Unless they have a time machine)

Not to mention the film exploring the history of the Makamou and Oni war.

But hey, the film was produced by infamous Shinichiro Shirakura who replaced the head producer for Hibiki and he’s along with Toshiki Inoue are the reason why the second half of Hibiki weren’t good as the first half.

The whole storybook gimmick really gives super sentai vibes to me, especially the fact that the main riders are colored like how a sentai team usually colored.

I am in love with all of the Saber designs. This show couldnt have come at a better time for me enjoyinh tokusatsu again.

Random thought, I wonder if they'll possibly try to rotate some of the riders in and out over the course of the show like they did in Hibiki.

For instance, we'd focus on the main trio for most of the show, but every now and then another rider like Kenzan or the unnamed 5th one would stop by and hang out with the group for a few episodes.

As for the riders themselves...

I actually like most of their designs. A random person on twitter pointed out that the dragon on Saber's shoulder looks a little too much like Guilmon from Digimon, and honestly I can't say the resemblance is unfounded...

Blades/Blaze/Blazu looks nice, although the "Black|Blue|Black" color scheme looks plain, same with Espada's "White|White|Yellow" design.

Kenzan and the unnamed 5th one look alright, although I'm more excited to see the 5th one in combat. As I can't really recall when was the last time we had a heavy armored sword wielder aside from Kuuga Titan, Gaim Kachidoki, and like Sasword in Masked Form.
