I knew/was unsure of the connection between the person who tagged the producers and the the actual leaker, so I will give you that. It's still a tremendously dick move to do, and still clearly done with the intent of screwing Matt Hunt over. And I am saying this as someone who doesn't really care for him, either.

And honestly this is something that you should take up with the moderators directly.

They had absolutely no problem publicly censoring my post without a single bit of messaging on their part. So not only do they follow the thread but if they have a problem with my criticism of their actions they are free to talk about it publicly as well.

As someone who is friends with a few of the mods, I can assure you that they do have rather busy lives. And that they were probably monitoring the site when the leaks happened in order to take them down. But what MKD said is true, if you have an issue with their decision, take up with them in the DMs. Or you can wait patiently for them to have some free time to check out things again. Or perhaps they'll simply just let you rant yourself tired of the subject.

The issue with the leaks, from my perspective (which I doubt you'll care about, but oh well), is that they were targeted at Matt Hunt specifically, and a lot of people have respect for him, including me. Even though he had me blocked on Twitter for unknown reasons. *shrugs* At the end of the day, they made a call and went with it. You can either accept it or keep ranting. The choice is ultimately up to you and it's your energy to waste. *tips hat* Have a nice day/night.

Anyway, what do you guys think of the suits and mecha?

The mods are either not busy as they immediately found the time to suddenly find an infraction on my post. My post was is from 11:59 PM and their response was from an hour later. Or there are sycophants who started reporting me when they saw fit that their friends were being criticized. And I'm doing this publicly cause it's an important issue particularly within the American/Western Toku fandom which I'll explain shortly.

Infraction on Rule 6. I have actively chosen to ignore this because what happened was at best self interest on part of the admins on the site or at worst xenophobia on their part. And the only way I've even got this kind of response was by talking about this publicly.

On its face, their reasoning for censoring the leaks, "We havs been asked not to share watermarked catalog leaks." was untrue. As evidenced time and time again. Leaks have been tolerated on this site and continue to be tolerated.

"In regards to the Matt Hunt leak situation, we?ve chosen not to post those leaks out of respect for his wishes." So Matt Hunt's wishes get preferential treatment because they are either friends with mod staff or someone is a big fan of them. The original reasoning makes it sound like staff was in trouble with Bandai or Toei but in reality it's just cause Matt doesn't like it.

Why are his wishes so important? The reason I continually bring up the other leaks is because other people's names are also on them. They too can also receive harsh ramifications for them leaking. Why aren't they being protected like Matt? Is it cause they're Japanese? All the staff are English speaking Westerners so the concerns of Japanese employees do not matter to them. This is indicative of the greater Western Toku fandom. From big wigs like the former Power Rangers showrunner mocking Japanese filmmaking all the way down to social media ecelebs showing complete lack of empathy for the plight of Japanese employees who are harmed when they recklessly throw around leaks within their social circles. It's an important issue that deserves to be called out publicly and not ignored and hidden away behind private messages.

Even you, the person I'm responding to, is incredibly concerned with Matt's plight and on board with their actions,

Why should I have any trust in a mod staff that lies on its very first action hoping to sweep under the rug a situation they have a problem with? And most importantly why didn't you or any of the admins care about any of the other Japanese people who are harmed by previous leaks? For a fandom that loves to preach about tolerance and inclusivity there sure is an alarming apathy to the working people on the Japanese side. If I'm banned for this then so be it, I will gladly accept the badge of honor of being disassociated from a bunch of xenophobes.

We have chosen to NOT allow sharing of the leaked images of the BoonBoomger suits/mecha. The sharing of the images look (on the surface) to be targeted harassment at the individual who first shared them out. We are not going to get caught up in that and will wait for non-personalized, non-watermarked images before sharing them.

That's it. That's our reason.

It's time to move on from all the other conversation around it. We appreciate everyone respecting our decision.

I really love the crazy designs of Boonboomger. Their designs are so unexpected and very unique.
The Boonboomger robot is very awesome and reminds me of Kyoryuzin Brave and PatKaiser.

So far, I'm not a fan of the mecha designs. From the leaked images, I think they're mediocre at best.

The suit designs are so weird it's good, especially the helmets. It's the kind of weird you see in a Super Sentai parody for prime time TV ads for Good Year, Bridgestone, or Enkei. The suits are more traditional, in the sense that they have no armors, unlike the last 3 seasons. I wonder if the face wheel does spin, haha.
