I bought a Pikachu 3DS XL specifically for X&Y, no regrets.

Even if the game does turn out to suck, even though I'm really excited, it's been really nice to go back and play some of the old Pokémon games and the ones I never got to play.

I forgot just how attached to your team you can get, even in a largely primitive game like Pokémon, I also forgot just how amazingly hard and frustrating the games can be at times, largely by forcing you into arduous grinding patches.

It's why I can't do a Nuzlocke.
I get too attached to my teams :lol

Am i the only Pokemon player who always picks the female trainer? I'm not sure why.

I'd have to spend all my money on potions :lol

To be fair it did actually case problems to be so attached for me.

I found the Elite Four on White One so difficult, because of the huge level jump between what I needed to defeat the final gym and to defeat them, the amount of time I spent on that game stretched on and on and so when I finally defeated the Elite Four and found myself flying through the last part of the game I had grown such a bond with my team, that when the game had finally finished and I loaded up White 2, I just didn't really...care...I couldn't do it, it just wasn't the same.

I can't do a Nuzlocke, ever. Pokémon just has too much time and emotional investment in it, so it's quite impossible.

Even if it wasn't heartbreaking, I would feel it was a massive waste of time.

No you aren't. Back when Diamond and Pearl came out, people apparently picked the female trainer because the male one wore a beret.

Though, I will say I'd probably pick the female trainer for X and Y, because the male trainer looks too much like the one from Black 2 and White 2, who in turn looks too much like the male trainer from Black and White.

My problem with W2/B2 was that I accidentally sneezed and made it through halfway through the game. Jeez, that set of games were ridiculously easy...

I lost my Pikachu in my FireRed Nuzlucke and I stopped there :lol

I'm probably gonna end up getting both versions so i can use both genders.

White 2 has been easier than White One so far, I got through the first couple of gyms without a full team.

In order to make White 2 have any semblance of difficulty, I actually had to go through it with a team of Fighting mons :lol

To be fair most of my team are poison and poison is rubbish :lol

I never could use Poison as a type, I got lucky I rolled Fighting.
(My cousin, who loves Poison type, rolled up Normal :lol)

I personally like Ground.

I'm a personal fan of Bug, but I made Fighting work with Emboar, Mienshao, Lucario, Scrafty, Ducklett (Needed Surf and Fly), and a fighting type meat shield :lol

Favorite type is Water, but I do admit they're far too common. I have a special affinity for Bug too, but I really dislike Poison.

Scyther, Scizor, Heracross, Galvantula, Volcarona, Escavalier, Ninjask, Shedinja.

While my all time favorite Pokemon are Magneton and Milotic, my favorite type still goes to Bug.

Aw, Poison's probably my second favorite type. :( I trained quite a few Poison Pokémon when I was really into properly EV training.

Current rumor around Sylveon again relates to it having a *cougcoughfuckingstupidlynamedcoughcough* "Fairy" type and that it's either weak to or simply vulnerable to Poison. There was some skit on Pokémon Smash that implied that, as well as a weakness to Fighting and strong against Ice.

no matter what, Rayquaza will always be my favorite pokemon with Deoxys as my second favorite.

My favorite Pokemon are the Oshawott line.

Marowak. Crap stats-wise though.

It's a fun novelty, but it won't really excite me unless other Pokemon can do it too.

If you can't ride on Xerneas, then you might as well not even bother :p

The region is also definitely based on europe in general not just france, pretty close in shape and layout. And you can get extra accessories and clothes for your character, so there's at least a bit more customization there then.

It really is a good year to own a 3DS...

lets just hope surfing on warte improves due to the riding on a goat cause we had a seal a laperas a wale pad thing for the longs lets hope we get the actuall look of the pokemon using surf or fly

Actually, "helio-" means "of or relating to the sun."
But a helicopter lizard? Yes! That's how I want to fly! That or a Flygon.

I think it's just outdated dude. The fandom new about them before they were officially revealed hence why it says they aren't official. With the release of the Genesect movie though they are now all official pokemon.

Trucks were seen on the highway in Black and White so I guess this is a nice, natural evolution of that.

Hell, if you want to be absolutely technical, there was data for at least one truck in Gen 1...
