Does anybody know of any good reviews/galleries of the Hibiki SICs? I've seen virtually nothing of them.

That looks so nice. It's a tragedy they're so fragile.
I really hope Figuarts does those suits soon. The SIC KT's aren't fragile, are they? |

Anyone who was interested in any of those SIC's I posted a page back, just hit me up with what you want. Gotta be paying the guy for the set soon any way.

Ok it took a lot longer than I expected (work stuff) but I finally had a chance to open up the Dark Kabuto/Gatack two-pack on my lunch break.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ps8189478e.jpg Gatack is gorgeous - a different, but still pretty, metallic blue compared to the Figuarts. Not much accessories, but in-hand he's really eye-catching. He does come with Zectrooper parts, which is nice, but I wish they threw in an extra torso and limbs to form a Zectrooper on its own without needing the Gatack body (or Dark Kabuto or Kabuto body, since they're rather similar). The human face within the helmet isn't as weird as it looked in promo pics, though I could've done without it. Dark Kabuto is ok, but I haven't cared for his suit as much as I did Kabuto's; fine figure, just not as aeshetically pleasing for me. I do love the look of his extra Masked form parts though . He's bulkier and looks like something out of Halo. The one annoying thing is because the horn flips down on his head and is hidden from view by the chest piece when attaching the Masked form parts, he has virtually zero head posability. Why they didn't make a separate head/helmet for Masked form is beyond me. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ps015b315b.jpg Also noticed on both figures the ankles are a bit loose; this was a pre-owned set from AmiAmi, but it's not problematic at all since they can maintain stability (even Dark Kabuto with Masked form parts, despite becoming rather top-heavy). So far I've enjoyed each of the SIC Kabuto riders; not as dynamic as the OOO riders, but each figure has been solid (though the Hopper Bros were sorely missing in the accessory department). I'm looking forward to TheBee early next year. |
Got SIC Punch/Kickhopper in the mail today as a special present. They're both awesome though I've noticed Kickhopper's left foot is a bit too easy to remove, and sometimes his lower leg comes out of the knee joint. I'm thinking of using some floor polish to tighten the joints, anyone else have similar issues with these or any SIC Kabuto mold?

Also, I found a site that I think lists all the SIC and SIC KT figures: http://playtime-playworks.blogspot.c...bit-games.html |

I wish more KT's were out. I wonder which rider is next? Kabuto probably

Are the OOO SIC figures fragile? Started watching OOO recently and the SIC's for it look like works of art.

The only issues I've experienced are a couple of the Tajadol wings are loose on the peg they attach to and can slide off if I'm not watching how they're angled. |

I am still waiting for the Fourze S.I.C. if they ever make one.

Not my favorite SIC set, but it is still pretty darn neat. |
That's a great set, Ryan! I wish I picked up the HeatMetal set to go along with it. I've just got CycloneJoker and the FangJoker/Skull set. FangJoker is an awesome figure, too.
Still, I think my favorites are from the Kiva series. I just love the way they translated into SIC style, especially IXA. :) |
For as desperate as I was to get the Kiva SICs I never really messed with them much. I should rectify that someday, because they are amazing.
I think it's really too bad Kiva didn't get as many SICs as Den-O did, I would totally buy 2 packs of the other Kiva forms and their related Arms Monster. Man, a Garulu Form/Garulu set would be so awesome. :cry |
I remember seeing pictures of his other forms and thinking they looked silly, but when I saw them in action and how it changed his moves, posture, and even the way he walked, I was hooked. And man, oh man, I can't tell you how much I'd love to have an SIC Saga figure. I'd love to be able to afford Emperor form of course, but Saga is just one BA design in any art style. :)

For everybody who PM'd me last month I've finally received that S.I.C. collection I'm going to piece out. I just have to check over all the figures tonight and make sure nothings wrong with anything.

Are SICs in scale with motion revives ?

It would figure. I finally bite the bullet recently and go in on a pre-owned SIC Super-1 that AmiAmi had (grade A:B) for 60ish...and they just put up another one for just under $50 (grade B:B...which typically just means "the box is scuffed/not immaculate"). Ah well.

I'm looking at some of the SIC "OOOs" figures. So far I think they might be pretty nice to own, but I do have some concerns. How fragile are these figures?

Any figure from Den-O onwards is not fragile in the slightest. They're VERY robust, and only get better. The OOO SIC's, being the most recent, are truely the line at it's finest.

Sounds promising. So far the only ones not yet released are SaGoZho and LaToraTah, correct? And since OOOs seems like a decent selling line they should come out eventually....

Unless Bandai will actually release that Love Combo we saw. |
