How are the Arms Change figures? I am a fan of Figuarts and are definitely getting the Gaim ones of them, I was just wondering how these are?

They are great. Considering they are the 'budget line', they are really really high quality, well articulated, well painted, they come with all the right accessories.

My only real disappointment is there is a sense about them that the creators are just making it up as they go. Although it is not massive, there is still a noticeable difference between the quality of Baron and that of Gaim. And where some armours transform very satisfyingly, and present a nice clean streamlined appearance on the figure much like the show, other armours basically just plop on top of the figure with barely any folding or transforming to tidy up the appearance and look kinda crappy. You could argue it doesn't matter, and maybe it doesn't, but however you display your ACs always make sure no one can see the back as the whole image is ruined.

Thinking of getting Suika Arms or the Driver and it's not an easy decision...

Must get the DX Rider Lockseeds...And the Legend Riders arms...but first AC figures...Why must Ryugen cost so much on Amazon and Ebay?! Cause everytime he pops up on Mandarake, I don't have the cash >_<

If you haven't seen the Mandarake prices, as of last night Gaim and Baron fetch 3500-4000 yen now! That's crazy for a gimmick line. I even saw a Ryugen last night for 2800. And here I'd considered picking up extras to display all the Arms changes separately.

I dunno what I'm doing right, but I seem to be avoiding all the price hikes and stock shortages. I've gotten everything I've wanted from the AC line and for relatively cheap compared to Figuarts. I'm not trying to rub that in or come across as a mean spirited dick or something, it's just weird that everyone else is having such a shit time of it.

I just don't have the money when they're cheap, but when I do they sell or get price-hiked :lol

I'm just struggling to get them for the same reason as OOO. When they've appeared cheap i haven't had the cash and I haven't really had the cash to preorder stuff either. It sucks. In fact if this order goes through it'll be my first Toku purchase since coming back from the states.

The one I really wanna get is Ryugen, who happens to sell for the cheapest often. But now, he's bumped up and I still can't get him >_<

It sucks, but I'm hoping that being patient will pay off. Eventually. Maybe.

To be honest, ive paid over the odds for DX Melon arms and im resolved never to have to do that again. But that was customs charges and EMS shipping so im totally to blame.

Mango and Kiwi was a treat since ive sold about a thousand pounds worth of collectibles in the last 2 weeks to cover the bills and food for xmas, I didnt mind spending £20 on a treat like that. I may even order Zangetsu from that seller as it reached me in under a week, assuming Mandarake doesnt pay off.

I just wish a few more retailers got these lines as I cant use HLJ or CStoys due to the savage customs charge they keep acquiring. Amiami is the only retailer i have left and theyre already sold out of everything.

I only have Gaim and Baron. I'm waiting for a decent priced ANYTHING. I've been spending like mad on Christmas presents and other collectibles that are proving hard to find. The difficulty at finding the AC figures is beyond annoying. Why is the gimmick line so unavailable?

I managed to get Gaim/Ryugen/Baron on mandarake for 1500-1800 each. It's amazing how fast they have shot up.

I heard somewhere that the line has been a major hit in Japan so im not shocked. I bought most of the Wizard dx line last year and got bored in 5 minutes, this line has really captured lightening in a bottle. Im a TF collector and i barely knew what Kamen Rider was a year ago, now im utterly hooked and forgoing a lot of TF releases to concentrate on Arms Change.

Feel like ive lost my damn mind over this.

Finding the AC figures sounds like a pain, kind of glad I'm not getting any. The real challenge, however, is finding a Sengoku Driver. :(

The big pull for me is AC's price. I LOVE SHF's but mother of Christ on a spaceship they are extortionate for what they are. Fifteen pound for a toy is expensive enough in shops, without the import charges, customs, shipping, scalpers. You're lucky to get three Figuarts for a hundred pound.

AC on the other hand is like a third of the price, but amazingly they aren't a third of the quality. They're well made, fun and just awesome.

Three figuarts for a hundred pounds???? dear god man! Yeah i get what youre saying, older figuarts i use Jungle, theyre cheap and they never get customs charges, i could get 7-8 for under £100.

The thing is with the AC figures im less willing to accept customs charges, they are cheaper action figures and i just cant stomach the jump in price. If they werent such a fun gimmick theres no way in hell id waste money on them, even at the price they are. Nabbing them in bulk and shipped together without customs would be the dream, sadly not likely.

I remember when Jungle gave me an insane deal on DekaBlue, a figure which had been scalped pretty much everywhere else.

I don't really bother bulking my orders, I know it saves on shipping, but this thread is proof of how much you miss out on if you try and be patient for the best deal.

Has anyone seen pine/ichigo back in stock on any site? HLJ says 4-6 weeks, but i don't know how reliable that actually is, and I really don't want to pay 40 dollars on ebay for them. Its annoying having zangetsu and mango/kiwi sitting in the hlj warehouse not knowing if pine/ichigo will ever come back in stock :(

...And I remorse over no AC Bravo. :( They use the same suit type, just with spikes all over Bravo. It REALLY sucks that my best chance for a figure of him is a Figuart in... God knows when.

I think the reason for no AC Bravo is because of how different his chest armor is when it transforms.
