@Topic: Re-watched the Transformers Movie today, still an awesome flick. I would kill to see this one in a cinema. Such a blast from the past. |

Hope they release Chromedome.
Anything Headmasters-related without Chromedome feels empty. |
Ok what made G1 shockwave original VA decline devastation I mean Cory burton still alive downy ant he shockwave. I mean the one voicing him don't even sound like shockwave.
|
Picked up the D-Style Transformers Starscream, Skywarp & Thundercracker model kits. These look to be a fun build.

Also, looking for subs of Transformers Beast Wars Neo. |

What is your opinion on it? |

Beast Wars Neo is still awaiting subs-for the most part- because it hasn't had a real DVD release.
A "complete series" was released in Japan a few years ago, but like most Japanese media releases the quantity was limited and prices were very high (last I checked; the set was costing $400 at some places). Since nobody has episodes, nobody can sub them. I don't believe Shout! has plans to release Neo either... |
I remember Shout! saying that they have no plans on release the other Japanese Transformers shows on Facebook a while back.
|
Has Shout! released ANY Japanese TF stuff?
|
They released the Japanese exclusive G1 shows that only aired in Japan. I have no idea how well they sold.
|
It would be rather nice to get Neo and II released here. Shame that they're so hard to get.
|
I only seen the fan dub of Beast Wars 2 at my local anime and manga club last year. The fan dub was so bad that everyone was laughing at it and making tons of jokes.

I've never seen any of the Japan-only Transformers shows, but I'm curious about them. Only really knew about Headmasters and Beast Wars II.

Animation-wise they are really good, but story and characters are meh and the action really depends. I would only watch those if you want to be a completionist about G1. With the Beast Wars shows, while I don’t expect them to be much better, I’m generally curios about them. |
Victory and Headmasters I'll give you, but Masterforce is superb. Quite un-Transformery in places, but a brilliant show nonetheless.

Don't really want to spend some import-money on the whole season just to find out. |
I can't even deal with Headmasters. It's just so lame and dull that it soured my tastes on all the Japanese G1 series.

Yeah I watched the first handful of episodes and didn’t really enjoy it. I didn’t want to go further without actually buying the whole season since it is available for purchase, so I just dropped it.
I may give it another shot once Takara releases their version of the Titan Wars Powermaster Prime as Super Ginrai sometime next year. |

The toys I'm really rather meh on. I do like a lot of them, but there's too many repaints and shellformers for me to be super excited on.
I would like to get Cohrada released stateside, though. |
Most of the Neo Predacons got US releases via redecos and Big Convoy had Nemesis redecos and an Ultra Magnus deco. BWII is mostly redecos anyway.
Generations Cohrada please! |

Why the jerk snake? Wouldn't Hotblooded Penguin be better? Quote:
And by stateside I mean Australia. |

I'd love a new version of either though. |

Serisolly though, Beast Wars ll and Neo for next Generations line, with the Axlion crew thrown in for good measure! |
