I like it. It seems to take design cues from the Green Ranger as well as Scorpina. I think she will have some sort of robe but this will be her battle form. This is a Rita who doesn't mind getting into the thick of things and hence the more battle ready suit. I think they will have throwbacks to the original design, perhaps when she is first freed or during everything but battle.

Those definitely have something to do with the rangers. There's just two red ones. They sort of look like spare bike fenders. If I'm right, they probably go through a bunch of them.

That's right; there's six of them with two red. What a lot of people think is white is actually pink, so these are obviously something to do with the Rangers. I thought they were suit parts, but after looking at it again this morning, it's my understanding they could be for bikes.

Ludi Lin has mentioned in a few instagram pictures that his motorcycle is getting the "Hollywood treatment" (I'm paraphrasing). Those parts could be for any cycles we might see in the movie. Otherwise, I thought if they were for the Rangers suits they are shoulder or leg pieces.

That's my thought. If she were to wear some large, pointy headgear at alternate times, I think it'll be fine.

I hope this doesn't mean that the Ranger suits will look extremely different.

Oh and in IGN a guy complained about Rita being whitewashed. Stupid.

How the fuck do you whitewash Rita Repulsa? She isn't even an earth human! Sure she's maybe a space human like Andros, but not an earth human. And if you're going with "oh but Bandora was Japanese!" No Bandora wasn't. She's whatever the Dall Tribe's now-long-extinct ethnicity is, which is probably just Dall all things considered.

Elizabeth Banks looks more like Rita Repulsa when she's in normal clothes sans makeup than she does in this photo.

I don't get it. We got all 5 colors. And then there's silver. Why?

They look like Motorcycle parts to me. But what im not getting is why is there a silver part. Are they giving us a silver ranger as a 6th ranger & not a green ranger?? hmmmm?

Think those are bike fenders.... there might be some SFX with the bikes that require the physical fenders be off for filming. Also at first I thought there were two red ones but then I realized one was pink.... interesting choice for pink anyone know the proper name for that shade? Imagine the Pink ranger's color was tough for designers. Now Rita... I like it. Going in I knew they weren't going to stick with the classic costume and why hire an actress like Elizabeth Banks only to stick her in an oversized dress and giant wig. Look passed that I think they're going with MCU Asgard style 'aliens' here; beings so advanced that science and magic are pretty much one and the same to them. One thing I'n hopping is that she still has her staff and that the staff holds the green ranger power coin (if they use the coins).

6 colors the 6th being Silver. hmmm? This movie is a reboot so may be theres going to be a Silver Ranger? Maybe it's Zordon? 2 times now we have seen the 5 colors with the color of Silver. Somthings going on there.

It's good to know Rita is gonna be touching down on Earth. I was kind of afraid we'd only see her in her base and the Rangers would go to her.

Man i want to see the toy line to this movie.

I'm not too excited, since BoA's current PR figures leave a lot to be desired (Good sculpts but little paint, average articulation, underwhelming zords, etc).

I love seeing her in action!

My God Yes. I love the staff, I love how it's new but remembers the old, I love everything about it.

The staff is the best aspect of the design. It actually resembles the original one
