Maybe not so much a Reiwa trend, but Toei deciding not to spend as much anymore. We've heard rumblings that Sentai is now a B-tier property for them. Which is interesting since Shirakura stated Sentai had a bigger production budget than Kamen Rider, at least prior to Kiramager

It's just a joke on how they decided to go in this direction when the Reiwa period started. Wow, Ryusoulger must have really failed for them.
How the tables have turned. Sentai was their dominant property in the 90's, is now second banana to Kamen Rider. Guess that's why Toei favors Kamen Rider, less budget, more returns.

So Don Momotarou's Avatar Change with the Zenkaiger Gear actually turns him in to Zenkaizer Classic, which I guess makes sense as they're both leaders of their respective teams, but man, I wonder how Alternate Kaito will react to seeing such a colorful version of his suit. Anyway, my theory about Don Zenkai Oh's Gattai could still work if Inubrother becomes Juran Tyranno and then Don Momotarou would pilot from the cockpit.

When I first heard of Zyuran in Donbrothers, the rumor said "Zyuran Black", so I thought Stacey was going to summon his version of Zyuran for the combination. Now that I know Zenkaiser Black is an alternate version of Kaito, my current theory is that the God character from Zenkaiger will deliver the gear Stacey used to this alternate Kaito.

Just a random thought but it would be interesting if it's a nice tribute to Great Five from Maskman, the first five-piece robot in sentai history. And in case people forgot Maskman and DonBrothers share the same Goggle V color palette so there is also that.

Don Onitaijin really reminds me of Muteki Shogun and Magiking :D

So the Legend Sentai Focus is (primarily) on the Sentai from Gokaiger to Zenkaiger.

The rumor is no DX Robot toys (other than the motorcycle thing) just these change figures and alters.

According to Rangerboard, the DX Don Onitaijin are released in May, so the 5 gattai robot debut are in around May episodes.

I think the previous Super Sentai Series with very late primary main gattai robot debut is Dairanger in episode 8.

It might just become a Sentai trend to have a larger number of smaller (and cheaper) mechs

so, now we have news about how the new Donblaster Works. So, the way it works is you insert a Gear, spin the Avataro Gear-like dial on the side (the counterpart to the Geartlinger's Crank or the Geardalinger's Pirate Ship Wheel) around 4 Times, and then pull the trigger.

Also, an aspect that differentiates the Donblaster from the Mobilates is that the Donblaster plays a small bit of the Transformation Sound for the Sentai Ranger it is based upon. Like, with the Kyoryuger Avataro Gear, you can hear the "Gaburincho" followed by the iconic Carnival song which plays from the Gaburivolver. Even though both transform into previous Rangers, the toy for the Donblaster actually plays the Transformation sound for the Sentai Team. Which the fact that it actually plays the sound for the Transformation Makes it closer to the Decadriver.

Perhaps this is also why the TOQ 1gou Alter is the first Legend Sentai Alter to show up, as the TOQgers were the last sentai to work directly with Momotaros in their own special.

I can't help but wonder if the Zenkaiser Alter will be based on the Zenryoku Zenkai Cannon or ZenkaiOh.

According to the wiki, the Noto are inhabitants of a higher world that humans can't perceive. In order to purge human desires that disturb the order of their world, they are trying to erase the Hitotsuki, which are born from desires, human by human. Sounds like a civilization of jackasses to me.

I mean, we've been shown that the human emotions disturbing the Noto world (so far) have been overly negative (although I'm not sure what was up with the taxi driver one that just decided to assault Haruka).

So from the Noto's prescriptive, humans are basically akin to the Humagear from 01, but worse in that the humans(humagear) turn into a hitotsuki(magia) even without Noto's influence.

Considering all of the Legend Sentai Alters have either been based on the main mech or the Team Leader's mech, I bet that Don Momotaro's Don Robotaro also has a peach mode, making Don Momotaro Alter an alternate version of his mech.

Yeah I saw that last week. I thought Shirakura made a lot of great points about making colors more inclusive to different roles and remembering that each member of a Sentai should also be their own person first.

I'm very relieved by what Shirakura is saying. Was worried a male pink would be an excuse for the show to make homophobic "jokes" about it being weird for a guy to be pink, but between this and Kijibrother's being totally cool about wearing a skirt, I'm glad to see the shows sending such a positive message to kids, even if some people want to act like positive change is big scary politics,.but old harmful stereotypes are somehow completely apolitical
