Hopfuly the sixth ranger isnt a other gold or silver, maybe go back to a classic and make the sixth ranger green

and not the spider theme, kinda want something we haven't seen in a long in terms of a sixth ranger color

Joking aside, a Brown Commoner or a Pink Princess would be neat. Maybe take a cue from Lupin/Patren X by having them be the same person.

The thing is, this is a good opportunity to have rangers of two main colors. Lupin/Patren X is technically an example, but I'm thinking less like 2 modes and more like a suit that's just as much [main color 1] as it is [main color 2], with a color distinct from both of them for decals. How about a ranger that's Blue and Yellow at the same time?

Eh, I personally wouldn't consider Green a 'classic' Sixth color when we've only had two of them. Among Toei/Bandai's official sixth, the third most common color we've had is white. At this point, I'll be happy with anything that isn't gold or silver, though.

He might be saying classic in reference to Green being the first official sixth ranger.

And considering the theme is insects, I wouldn't be surprised if we got a green sixth. It's a super common color for them.

Ah, well, I could definitely see that. Though if the rumors of it being a spider-themed hero, the sky is the limit, more or less - there are so many differently colored spiders out there. Imagine the first female (Lone) sixth based on a black widow, either classed as black or red, like Time Fire.

Their specialty would be durability, mainly because cockroaches are known for that, but also because it lends itself to the sentai trope of brown rangers being comedic, with the ranger being able to take hits without much issue, but still fumbling around.

Brown Rangers aren't yet common enough to have a Sentai trope. Ryusoul Brown's literally the only official one in history.

Maybe, but like I said, there's only one official Brown in history, that would qualify for having a recurring trope.

Or they could be based on an Ant Queen. Not only does it give the Ant component of King-Ohger a reason to exist, but you can retool Kuwagata into an Ant Queen. Since, well, we do see a lot of clips on King-Ohger's upper legs. Which would be perfect for attaching multiple ants.

Who wants the 6th ranger to not only be a white ranger based off of a spider, but also to be a "slayer of rulers"?

I pray he be from our world.

He comes into the other world as an anarchist/revolutionary who seeks to free the people from rule.

"Where I come from... no one is king/queen/lord/ruler. Only freedom lives!"

He'd act as a judge for them to see whether they truly care about the people or themselves & their rules.

That's a cool idea! A rival who believes too much power is corrupt and wants to prevent it from falling in to wrong hands. Our heroes have a lot of flaws, like selfishness and duplicity, so it would be a good way to challenge those to see if they can still rule justly.

Anyway, I'm glad to see the franchise finally giving isopods the representation they deserve with Rolling Hammer.

And he'll be the judge of that. I can see him starting off from watching the rangers from the shadows under a cloak, observing them from afar to see how they work and how they treat the people.

He'll reveal himself, fighting the enemy but then fights the rangers, lashing out at them for not being a true ranger team, but also for them not being justly rulers but evil as well.

The sixth ranger will attempt to travel to one rangers? kingdom, queendom or empire to try and ?free the people?. But he'll also learn about the rangers one by one to see if they're truly to be righteous or learning to be if they're worthy of being protectors.

• Red Ranger: He'll view Red still a rookie and is not ready to end him just yet.
• Blue Ranger: ?
• Yellow Ranger: He'll hate her for being so vain and selfish.
• Violet Ranger: He'll already suspect Rita is a woman under the fa?ade.
• Black Ranger: Hates his deception and he'll attempt to beat sense into him

Also for the red ranger, wonder which of the girls?ll be his love interest? Yellow ranger or violet ranger?

Why would the Red ranger worry about romance when he has a cover story to maintain?

In fairness, Tonboh-Ohger came from the slums and worked his way up, so maybe they'd have a grudging rivalry.

Man, what's with your constant focus on het romance? It's really not that much of a thing in toku, cause 6-12 year old boys think girls have cooties. Ya gotta learn to appreciate the real romance in toku, that Heated Drama Between Men (or woman in the case of SakuHana in Revice)

When was the last time we had a romance between the Red ranger and another team member, anyway?
Because the most recent one I can think of is TimeRanger, but I haven't seen every Sentai between then and now, so I could very well be missing one.

In fairness, Red could be asexual for all we know. Dude knows what he wants, and he wants to conquer the world.

When romance gets in your head, it's hard to tune it out, even if you have a mission. To quote Gai from Jetman, "We're people before we're soldiers". Heroes fight with their heads as well as their hearts and monarchs are no exception.

Hetero is the most common and popular type of romance outside of fanfiction, so I think it's okay for Henshinzero to focus on that if he wants. I enjoy hetero ships, but like you, I enjoy m/m slash ships as well. Hypothetically, Gira could end up with any of his teammates, even Rita, whatever their gender might be. Ultimately, it depends on the execution for whether people will enjoy it. And foreshadowing. Lots of foreshadowing. Takano Minato has experience in writing romance, so I hope he'll make it work if that's the direction he wants to take.

Sousuke/Miu, King/Yayoi, King/Amy (yes, King gets two girls fighting over him, in case it's not obvious he's the main character) and Tarou/Sonoi.

I'm just saying that in Sentai and Rider, M/F romance doesn't tend to be as much of a thing as HZ seems to be expecting, going off their pretty consistently posting about for at least since Saber. Trying to recommend to them that if they really are about the ROMANCE, then they should try and appreciate all kinds of romance, not just Main Hero ? Pretty Girl

Okay perhaps I was mistaken that the King-Ohgers don't come from another world, but from Earth entirely.

So then the sixth ranger oughta come from a decimated country that lost it's kingdom. Otherwise, the new ranger oughta be a young king or a peasant who's people were enslaved by.

For that, he should be one who has a hatred for all rulers - kings, queens, lords & politicians. And feels that all the people should be freed from rule, tyranny & fear.

And he's takes it out on the bug enemy & the rangers.

I can imagine him kinda stalking the rangers in their "civilian" lives, surveiling the Red Ranger on screen after their first encounter, only to watch him play with the children and think to himself "That's why he's called the King of Evil?!"

The new guy will probably start to have doubts about him, if he's truly the king the people needs or not.

Meanwhile, with the four rangers, he'll target them in order to tear down their kingdoms & free the people.

• Yellow Ranger: Hates her vanity.
• Purple/Violet Ranger: Will already suspect Rita a woman.
• Black Ranger: Hates his deception & lies.

I don't think Sentai's the kind of series to have this level of political depth with the 6th fighting all the others to be honest
