Why isnt the GB custom visor coming to america?

Because the keys that came with the figures have supplanted it in the toyline.

And I can see Kuuga, Gavan, Kikaider, Spider-Man, Deadpool, Ranger Slayer, Black Panther, Iron Man 2 Iron Man, SPD Green, Kouga Garo, Gokai Christmas and that’s just the ones I recognise.

Theory #1: Hasbro didn't think about it.

Theory #2: Hasbro didn't know how to market it.

Theory #3: Hasbro thought it wouldn't sell. This ties into Theory #2.

Theory #4: Hasbro is still new to the franchise and Beast Morphers is more of an experiment than anything so that Hasbro can get a feel for what they can and cannot do. The ridiculous distribution of the Zord toys is an example of this. The Beast-X King Zord (Tategami Lioh) has yet to receive a toy either.

Theory #5: Hasbro has questionable people in key positions and this bunch doesn't have any clue what they're doing. Again, the stupidity regarding Zords relates.

Theory #6: Economics and production costs forced some hard decisions. This could serve as a possible influence and explaination as to why the Zords just aren't there.

P.S.: User Androzani84 had a different theory, and it's a relevant one I overlooked.

Does anyone know if a toy or statue was ever made to depict a Sentai robot as it appears in the shows as a person-in-a-suit style design?

The DX toys are obviously made to look like they are actual robots but the on-screen designs often have bigger heads, and boxier proportions, much more obviously looking like a person in a suit.

I think there was a jumbo vinyl of Daizyujin that was released at one point that was accurate to the screen used suit. Not sure how easy it is to find or get though.

Yeah, as the fellow above me said, only one figure for daizyujin exists. It was an X- Plus vinyl and i believe about $300 from image anime and a few other e-tailers during the PO phase, it stood about the height of (or a little taller) than the soc. Sadly, its very rare in the market as it was a tamashii web collab item and due to the price, not many were made.

Maybe some 3p companies have made some unlicensed offerings you could look for? Or some 3d print files of the robos that come pretty close to the suit design?

I called hasbro about them bringing the custom visor to america as the beast x visor and the guy who answered said they had no plans to release it currently

I asked for the striker morpher blaster and the beast wrecker zord . For xmas .

I mean, we already discussed this in the dino fury toy thread, but they chose not to do it because they put the sounds for the custom visor in the beast-x king morpher. If they released the custom visor, many people who are not fans would've overlooked it and picked up a standard morpher. But by putting the sounds in a new morpher and showcasing it in the show, people would pick up more of the new morpher because kids really care abou morphers and its the easiest way to sell them the new sounds. So they did it because they love money, which every company does, but Hasbro especially.

Yes, but you're a fan, they are not trying to sell to you, but to kids. They make these toys for kids and try to find ways to sell them to kids, kids would not have bought the custom visor as much. They like morphers much more, so hasbro put the custom visors sounds in a new morpher for them to buy, which they did.

We fans will buy the roleplay stuff regardless, but kids won't. You have to give kids a reason why they would buy the new roleplay stuff. So they did by making the beast x king morpher important and heavily featured in the show.

Oh, for that im with you. It does suck that they put it in the show, but then never release the toy, and just shoehorned the sounds into the king morpher.

I also saw that some early copies of the beast-x morpher could remove the visor, probably how the custom visor would've attached had they made it. But oh well. The biggest let down of the show is no real striker morpher or striker saber, only a nerf gun.

Maybe dino steel will be better, but im highly suspicious that they will change the gold rangers gun morpher into a nerf gun.
