Been watching Den-O slowly, I used to sandwich it in between OOO episodes but then I finished OOO and needed a break. I kinda wanna watch it again though :lol
I'd look into the reissue TaToBa. I just ordered mine for about 35 shipped and I suspect it was the reissue. Once I got it and opened it, it was PERFECT. I had heard about the issues and risked it anyways, but there are no problems with mine. The paint apps are all nice and crisp, the yellow doesn't look muddy or thin, and no loose joints (I actually had to use shock oil on one hip and the neck). It still has the limited ankles, but if you slightly pop them out of place it doesn't look unnatural and you get a decent range of motion.

Really? I love my TaJaDoru.

Watched it and a couple episodes after it. It was pretty fun. Gaoh was cool. I sorta wish he appeared more. Though...I wasn't too keen on his rider mode. I dunno, it seemed like an odd design.

Other than that, awesome. I likes how Sieg just sorta showed up and helped out. Cool to see all the forms of Den-O fighting together. This film did raise some questions om how time travel works in Den-O, though. I mean...does kid Ryotaro know he's gonna grow up to become Den-O now, or...

I think since the kid Den-O in the movie experienced a slightly different timeline than regular Den-O, the kid Den-O became the Den-O in Kamen Rider Decade.

Ahhh...so the umiverses Decade visits are only alternate versions of the originals or something?

At the very least, it is explained that the timeline is similar to the mainstream Den-O's. But due to the fact that alternate universes are involved, anything is possible.

Ah, I didn't know. Den-O os the first Kamen Rider series I've actually watched. The only things I know about the others are their general themes and whatnot.

Decade episode 8

It was ok...Tsukasa was his usual egotistical self. So...how does it work in Blade? Do they work for a company? Kivara really bothered me this episode. They've animated her flying before...so why did they just leave the miniature there? It just looked really bad. The fight scene was great as per usual.

Speaking of Decade, I watched the Kabuto World arc last night.

I kinda like the idea that Kabuto is trapped in the Clock Up demension.

I saw the 'twist' coming that Kabuto was the girl's brother, and that the one with the eye patch was a Worm. i did not see coming the twist that she was also a Worm.

overall, I thought it was a good arc. Tsukasa wasn't a giant dick, and Kaito was thwarted and soundly beaten, which I enjoyed seeing. And it made me want to go finish watching Kabuto, but I probably won't until after I finish Decade and Fourze and Wizard.

Finally picking up Blade again now that I have some free time. Forgot how good it really is.

Blade is freaking awesome!

That's actually one of my least favorites, mostly because the original Tendou was such a dynamic character, but Decade's Souji was really bland.

He was also only in it for about 5 minutes. Kind of an unfair comparison.

I really want to finish this ep, but I'm so tired. Also, was it just me, or is that lizard monster a cut above usual KR baddies in terms of design and suit animatronics?

Black in general had some really good monster suits.

Watched Kabuto episode 5, still loving Tendou and Kagami. The cast is pretty nice, but I don't like Zect though.

And just finished Episode 6, I love the cast of this show so far. Tendou is so awesome and calm in any situation. Excited for the next episode.

So I'm 13 episodes into Wizard now and I'm not huge on the pacing, it's like they're worried we'll be spoiled or something and they balance every good couple of episodes with a pointless filler episode or an episode focusing on characters we never cared about in the first place.

I wouldn't mind so much but these shitty episodes always crop up just when the show really feels like it's starting to get going and all the momentum and excitement just kinda deflates.

I don't even know what the hell Manju is.

Black 11: That's interesting, I didn't even know the monsters were spawing themselves, let alone to the point that they're fighting over food. I thought they summoned a monster one at a time...

...Wait, so why do they only send out one monster at a time? They could easily overwhelm Black at this point if they even sent so little as two or three monsters.

Wizard is still in filler mode but it's the annoying kind of filler where new powers are revealed within it so you still have to watch it.

I don't really get with Lizardman thanked Haruto as all the flashback shows is the White Wizard smashing Lizardman back but whatever. It was also kinda weird that Lizardman was introduced so early in the show and ended up amounting to absolutely nothing, unless more comes of this later.

Got up to episode 40 of Den-O. Ah so this is what people meant when they were saying the plot kicks in later on. I got used to mini-Hana a lot quicker than I thought I would, though I miss her old actress.

Liner form is pretty awesome, I definitely dig the Taros sword. Kai is an...odd main villain. And Yuuto's newest form has to be in the running for the "saddest henshin in the world" contest. Looks cool though.

Uh, Black, too much radiation can kill humans too so maybe you don't wanttodothat-! Oh, okay.

Also he seriously could have kicked all their asses. Stupid badguys and their post-production magic.

So I've got to Beast now.

And eh... he's okay. He's like if ShinkenGold had any practicality, I still much prefer Haruto.

The only thing I really didn't like is what is his conflict? He claims to know nothing about Gates but also knows he can leap inside them and consume the mana in there, so what was all that about 'omg if there are no phantoms I will die' crap about? As long as people are being driven to despair, he can save them and feed, and that will be always.

Well considering that I'm pretty sure that Gates need to be in the middle of cracking up in order for him to find a Phantom to feed off inside them, Nitou would have to purposely let them despair in order to feed Chimera. Purposely endangering lives to save yourself is almost as bad as actually killing the gates to save yourself.
