I just feel it would be a nice jab to people who hate on any version of comic-book starfire because their only exposure to the character was the cartoon.

because I have seen too many people wrongfully bash the comics because of how she dresses. she's a great character, it's just she sometimes gets the shaft.

hell, in the image above she actually is one of my preferred characters. she isn't taking any crap but she shows plenty of concern for the new kids in the Titans.

Do we even have confirmation that she'll be an alien princess in the show? She very well could be normal girl turned metahuman.

There is a big difference though between dressing sexy

To go more in depth about my point. The Perez Starfire shows just enough skin to look sexy but not sexualized. While the N52 design for example only uses clothing in really specific places. Mostly just a few lines to cover up her more intimate areas and those weird as hell Nippleflaps. Plus its unpractical as hell.

The Starfire of New Teen Titans did not sleep with every guy she came across and then write it off. She had a personality. She was in love with Dick. She was not a machine who desired sex and nothing but sex and would sleep with anyone that asked her to.

dressing provocatively doesn't mean she desires sex. they are not interchangeable with what I am talking about. I am not asking for that. PLEASE stop assuming that I am. I have not been referring to the new 52 starfire. I haven't read anything involving new 52 starfire. I've just heard she's gotten better.

it's kind of irritating and a little disheartening.

what I want is a Starfire that is more close to the comic book version than the bubbley version we got in the cartoon. because I am sick of the cartoon being the standard.
