I think the reason why it's called as such is because all of the seasons post-Decade are such a drastic change in tone, formula and writers that it kinda warrants the distinction, not to mention that the seasons (minus perhaps Gaim) all bring a better sense of continuity between not only themselves, but the Showa Riders as well. It's clear to me that the Rider series in particular treats its own eras a bit differently from how Japan itself does, otherwise, Shin, ZO and J would all be Heisei riders.

Will Drive get his own movie-exclusive form? You know when big bad (Movie-exclusive Villain Rider) about to kill him, Drive will get the ultimate Shift Car to put the end of villain's madness

Since Drive is a Car-themed while Mach is Bike-themed, let's make a villain rider Plane-Themed!

So, new rumors based on supposed upcoming toy solicits:



*Chase will be reborn as "Kamen Rider Chaser" and use a new weapon called the "Shingou Axe" modeled after a traffic light.

*Drive will obtain a new Shift Car based on the Tridoron for another new powerup, Type Tridoron.

You could see that coming with Chase. Glad it is though, hopefully his form keeps that beautiful purple/black/silver scheme in some way. Also wondering if he keeps his Viral weapons in a new form. That'd be awesome too.

What if, and this is just pure speculation, Chase's Legacy items end up being Rider Bikes? If theya ren't I think they missed a real opportunity here. Type Ride Vendor, Type Sakura Hurricane, Type Auto Vaijin.

Buy the hell out of those.

I hope this is true with Chase, it's what I've been wanting for the entire series pretty much.
