Robo Rider! A little stiff, in terms of figuarts....but aptly stiff, I suppose. Since he's not as fast, in this form. Cool figure, and he looks great with pretty much every MSiA gun I can put in his hands.

This is an update to my post from Hauls. I now join Den-O in my disappointment with a SHF purchase, but mine was a bit worse. My Faiz Blaster Form was good, no real complaints. But as for Roborider.....well, he came disassembled. Right out of the package he seemed "off", so grabbing his head to remove him from packaging his head came out....without his body. Worse still, his neck joint was extended, so I knew he hadn't somehow been put together right. After about 20 minutes of frustration and struggling, to the point of surrendering as I didn't want to further break him, I fixed everything. Hardest part was the head, as the neck swivel moved around a lot. Once that was on, then I pressed down a couple of times to try to reset the neck. All in all frustrating start to my morning. Though not new to most of you here, this is a cautionary tale of buying Figuarts. Shit can happen.

That kinda sucks, glad you could fix it.

Yeah, I thought mine had a tall neck at first, but I pushed his head down and it clicked into place. Not sure if it's molded to do that? 'Cause I can still pull it up again (without it coming off) and push it back down again. I also thought, at first, that his biceps didn't swivel, but it turned out they were just stuck. I will say - above all the other Kamen Rider figuarts I own so far - that this one feels the most fragile. I don't feel as confident moving him around like I do with others.

Well I the I the neck thing is part of the figures mechanics, but it shouldn't be able to do the so freely. Just think Bandai durpped up this release.

But I fee you on the fragility point. But I'm going to work it out. And I didn't know there was a bicep swivel. Kinda scared to try and find out.

I suspect some modification was necessary. That neck post on Gaim looks a bit thin to be the SHF version, and it's lacking the adam's apple.

They fit quite nicely. Not nearly as articulate, but it gets the job done.

Lol. Only if I charge you enough to replace Gaim and Baron. And actually no mods required. Simply pop the double ball joint out of the neck and pop the AC head in.

It looks a bit off since the proportions are different.

Banana Gaim is the only one who (from the pictures) looks a bit off. Ryugen looks fine though.

Might just be the particular pose I chose for him. Or the angle at which I took the photo.

Well outside of Banana Arms he's mostly wearing bulkier armor, so maybe that helps take away from it. Though I am curious, how difficult was it to get the armor pieces on and off? Or are those AC parts too?

It's not difficult at all. It's actually swapping the entire torso. the biceps come apart from the shoulder in order to swap the arms. The most difficult part is removing the double ball joint in the neck. Everything else is quite easy.

How did you split the torso? I know of a few tricks back when I worked with Joes, but they almost always wound up severely damaged since I lacked the proper tools.

First pull the figure apart at the ab joint.

Then pull the bicep from the shoulder. The shoulder piece should come out as well, revealing the swivel mechanism.

Repeat with a second figure swap in the arms and legs and stuff.

I am always hesitant to pull apart my Figuarts, with my luck, I'd break the damn things.

With Tyranno Ranger and Dragon Ranger, it was kinda built into the figures that pulling them apart would be easy. For the Gaim Figuarts, I dunno...

To this day, I have not figured out how to pull off the arms of ANY figuarts other than Gaim. With the Sentai stuff, I'm only comfortable pulling off the waist and neck, but that goes for pretty much any figuart.
