If Char's Counterattack was ever remade in HD, I would totally be okay with this Psycoframe design being retconned in.

That G-Portent is a kit that just begs to be customized.

Nu Gundam whole base body is done, now for his funnels and the rest of his accessories.

Alright two things before I even go in to Nu Gundam Ver Ka kit.

1. His whole funnel sucks when attach as a back pack.
2. His wrist is to loose and can barley hold his rifle.

With those things out of the way. I rate Nu Gundam a 10/10.

This kit is damn awesome and in so many ways, now I know I list two major faults to this kit, but other things makes up for it.

First his size and mass compared to other MG's is HUGE ok not that huge, but when compared to Build Strike MG, Wing Zero EW, or even Unicorn. He looks like a fricking bully.

Now his display stand makes up for his whole faulty Funnel backpack and actually, I love it like this. He looks so damn badass with all his funnels flying around.

I was going to transform him into his... "destroy mode" or more revealing "green psycho frame parts" form, but I think this looks totally fine plus I didn't wanted to deal with more extra parts flying around. But I really dig how they implemented into it with out giving him any faults, granted... He has way less than Unicorn but it's totally done way better for a "destroy mode"

I may have not bought this kit, but I will forever remember this kit. And it is now my favorite MG kit in my collection.

It's decent, but limited due to the hip skirts being fixed in place, also the connection points are polycap and post, so they tend to slide off easier than normal kits

Yeah, SD Polycaps tends to be a problem.

Yep, although I'm mostly lost at what's going on now and am just watching to say I finished the damn thing.

I only watched one episode.

I gave up after 2 episodes.

I was so lost as to what was going on. It also didn't help that I just finished Unicorn right before I started G Reco.

I love G-Arcane though and I would love G-Self design in MG but with his space pack.

The Gaeon's pretty sweet, too. Almost made me want to give the show a second chance. Almost.

I was just wondering about G-reco since I've seen a major split over it. One side praises it for Tomino's genius. Others yawn at it. I just wanted to check to see if we were all still in the yawn camp

Well unless I missed the news of it getting a second season, there's only 3 episodes left after this week. So unless a cliffhanger ending counts as a game changing twist, that isn't happening.

Is G-reco even getting a second season? A cliffhanger wouldn't work if there is not a season 2 or there's no ZOMG Turn A tie in.

I really hope nothing else related to Reconguista ever comes into existence. It's absolutely the worst thing I've ever seen in my 20 year exposure to the franchise. It's just such a disappointment. Another season of this nonsense would be just painful.

But hey Japan loves it, G-Self has been getting tons of love over there.

That's what I mean. I have no idea so its either somehow gonna get a sequel and possibly end on a cliffhanger, or just end as unspectacularly as it started. 23 episodes in and there's been absolutely no "twists" to speak of except one incredibly contrived one.

Not surprised since that the show gives it a new backpack every other week. Its some of the most shameless marketing I've ever seen.

In a sense I prefer it to straight up upgrade, though there's no denying most of the backpacks were fairly pointless.

Just like Gundam Seed/Destiny.....

at the end of the day japan rating the count most so if jpan love a serise it most likely will get a second season

I've found both sides to be insufferable because their worsts are the most vocal.

one side won't playing damage control for Tomino and the other side often makes their complaints over exaggerated.

I'm on episode 2 but I'll give it a chance. though, that cutaway when they're explaining solar panels was bullshit, and I am glad that at least one person agreed with me when I brought it up. that was inexcusable to just tease us WHEN YOU KEEP DEFENDING TOMINO FOR SAYING HE DOES EXPLAIN THINGS IN DIALOGUE AND SOMETHING THAT SEEMS HUGE IS JUST CUT OFF BECAUSE "hey look! watch this mobile suit fly around!"

To be fair, the other side of the coin is Build Fighters Try. I can see why Rec-G is putting out backpacks and suits so much. It's to keep up with Try. lol

That doesn't make any sense though. The logic of having both Try and G-reco run at the same time is that Tomino would be free do to do whatever he wanted with his show and not have Bandai force including suits in his show just for kits' sake as that's what drove him away last time.

As far as I can guess, it's trying to do what SEED did with Striker Packs, just times 10 and in half the time.

That was part of it. Bandai was new when trying to integrate kits into Gundam when they purchased Sunrise, ruined Victory Gundam.
