I'm watching the "New" episode of Yugioh Zexal on Nick, when Yuma's sister showed up on a motorcycle i just yelled out. "When did this woman become so cool!?"

So I'm playing catch up on Shingeki, as I watch the show monthly as it is THE SLOWEST PACED THING IN EXISTENCE.

Seriously episode 13 was basically just a reaction face to the episode before it, like basically every episode has been since maybe the first two. The saddest thing is, I think the anime thinks itself really intelligent, like an elaborate game of chess but this even makes Naruto look complex and deeply though out in comparison.

I mean it isn't all bad, I still love how this show goes all out into the horrors of war in a way a western cartoon just never could, I'm assuming if this ever gets dubbed it's going straight to DVD as there is no way you could get this onto TV without cutting out like 90% of the content.

When the show actually fucking moves, the animation is stunning and the fight scenes are awesome, it's so basic but three dimensional movement is just a joy to watch with the shows sense of speed and energy.

They mostly talk around, there are important plot details, but the action won't start again until episode 17.

However from there on, it will be a fun ride.

I'd be disappointed in knowing I have three episodes of talking ahead of me, but that is basically Shingeki. 'That show where people have really DRAMATIC CLOSE UP conversations and occasionally a giant shows up'

If the show wasn't so damn dark or the action so well animated, I'd assume this a parody of anime. Then again a lot of modern anime seems to no longer remember that the criticisms of anime weren't a mandatory inclusion and you could just not make the same mistakes again...

So Shingeki 14, it's weird when you move between sub groups because it's amazing how drastically different you can word a translation with it still meaning the same thing, characters in Commie's subs almost seem different to those in GG's because of the kind of words they pick to express the translation.

Anyway, fourteen was a fantastic episode, even if not a lot happened as it was just so dramatic and epic, Eren's speech and Levi's actions gave me chills. Levi is so so awesome, so I'm assuming he'll be dead soon.

Shingeki Fifteen, I'm assuming the Titan's looking like humans is on purpose but I kinda wish they had less human qualities because the kind of detail the show goes into their psychology makes them seem a lot more interesting than they actually are.

Also the Recon Corps are fucking nutters, the lot of them, I love them.

I'm watching Attack on Titan now, about to check out Gatchaman Crowds

Don't go around killing Levi, he's my favorite character.

So far I have liked Crowds, the first episode is rather stereotypical but the next 2 are pretty good.

I'm all caught up now and I love the Recon Corps in general, bunch of fucking freaks, so I'd be right at home. Really though Shingeki needs some big personalities, as most of the character designs are really bland and everyone fights the same, so their weirdness keeps it getting stale.
