Looking at the series up to this point and ignoring the names: I don't think this anime would've stood out too much had it just went with original chars. |
You guys reminded me that I need to catch up on Nobunaga...

Capt.Earth 08:
Oh hey look! Disel Ressha cameos: https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3788/...1f6cc7db_c.jpg I think Captain Earth is starting to get more interesting. It's neat that by using the Earth Engine's core we can have a robot fight that's more akin to Gundam or Code Geass, the show isn't a one trick pony and Daichi's shown some improvement this episode. We also get a new villain this episode though honestly, I liked the character a bit more before he became one. |
Gundam 00 season 2 episode 3
So Allelujah finally lost his emo hair cut. But he was in a prison... so does that mean that they cared enough about his hair to not shave him bald all the time or let it grow out? Cherudim Gundam was a badass. And fuck yeah Seravee. And Arios too. Oddly enough, 00 didn't even enough badass in this episode. That end scene with Tieria welcoming back Allelujah showed so much of his character development. The dude has lightened up quite a lot yet can do serious really really well. episode 4 That intro, the feels man! Well this episode sure had a lot of moping. And the introduction of Mr. Bushido. Wait, Alleujah can't use his quantum brainwaves anymore? The fuck? Now that makes him as boringly normal as Lock-on(love ya buddy) Damn Lock-on, you sure do know how to make the moves on the ladies. |
Build Fighters 24. This show is gorgeous, and so imaginative, this is the battle we've been waiting for. I love this show.

Welp, finished everything Steins;Gate has to offer. It ended up so much better than I expected, even resolving everything I found confusing in the first few episodes. It was indeed pretty good.
Now to figure out what to watch next... With no gaming for the next week I'll have plenty of free time in the evening to watch something. :lol Anyone have any suggestions from this list? [The exception being no FA:B yet, since I want to watch that on Netflix and since I'm sharing an account but without the password... I only have access to that on my Xbone.] |
Judging from your list, I say Code Geass. The Gurren Lagann parallel works videos are pretty cool as well and don't take a long time to watch.
|
I say Carnival Phantasm. The Fate parts are really funny especially the holy grail war race.

What's your worst anime genre?

I don't really have a worst genre personally. I do however have a worst anime, and it's made me quite unpopular with some of my friends.

However, it is pretty hard for me to say what the worst series ever is, but Evangelion is up there. Maybe it is WeiB Kreis though... |

They've released who will be the voice actors in the dub of Kill La Kill.
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...ish-dub/.75002 The voice actress for Madoka is also the voice of Mako. :D |
Zeta Gundam 39.
Kamille has a sister? Also this episode was just pure filler, no plot adavancement, just setting up this one potinetal storyline. |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55iX64NmUDA I know it isn't the same cast, but still... |
The only voices that seem off to me are the voices of Senketsu and Satsuki. Besides those two, everyone else is fine.

Forgot to mention that I finished the Nadeko Medusa arc of Monogatari Second Season. Jeez...I hated Nadeko back in Bake because she was an annoying fanservicey bitch but I wasn't her expecting her to go full on evil. That finale was utterly jaw dropping.
This season has been incredible so far, it's outclassed Bakemonogatari in every way and I thought that was a masterpiece. |

The Kill la Kill dub sounds pretty good to me, sounds like they paid attention to the voices and personalities of the original and attempted to ape that. Which makes a nice change to the sea of dubs populated with bland, generically North American sounding (to a foreign ear like mine) actors who are clearly reading from a script rather than acting.

Pretty Cure 2. The animation isn't as good as I remember it being but the stylistic choices are nice.
Other than that, it was just a pretty generic toku episode. I know that is half the charm with you guys, but considering this isn't live action - so it doesn't need to contend with reality - it's disappointing the show isn't a little grander and more high concept. If anything the action here is less impressive than your usual toku episode. I'm just thinking this Precure fad just isn't for me. |
