Because they don't have to move. Still images can add more detail without having to worry about things like scale, perspective, anatomy, and motion.
While I agree with that reasoning, I think animated TV shows usually look better than comic book art where superheroes are concerned. :lol

Enchantress disturbs me more. Even by Comicbook Standards she defies anatomic realities. Those legs alone.. No one's bones are that long and thin without something serious being wrong with them.

Very. He was a hit in the 90's, when big muscles, bigger guns, and scantily clad women were all the rage.
Nowadays, it's love triangles, meta humor, and scantily clad women that's popular, and considering how well he handled the third category, you can see why he fell out of favor :p

I admit. I enjoyed Youngblood in my youth, collected the cards and everything else.

But then I grew up and devoloped a sense of WTF.

I never actually read Youngblood. When I lived in Georgia, my local comic store had a huge collection of the comics, but they all just looked so generic 90's that I never bothered. :lol
I only know what actually happened in Youngblood thanks to Atop the 4th Wall.

It helped that I picked up alot of the cards at the flea market up in Oceola County. A quarter for three packs? Hells yes.

Damn, I loved Nightmare Rarity. I seriously hope it gets referenced in Season 4 so it can be canon...
