Cherry red. The lighting in stock images makes him look orange but he's red. Or at least it looks red to me.

Yeah I can see Accel's metallic shine making him difficult to photograph. But I can second this and say that it's indeed a bright candy red.

And wouldn't you know it, mine also did not come with the Strike Wizard Robe bonus. What exactly did you have to do to get Bluefin to send you yours? I don't have an invoice or anything, at least not one on paper, should I print out the one I have on Amazon and get a picture of the bottom of Wizard's box?

Anyways, was he worth the wait? Well it's hard to say. I waited so freaking long to get this guy. Wizard is kinda special to me, it's the series that got me interested in the franchise, so I have a touch of bias there.

It is far far from a flawless release. Even ignoring how annoying it was waiting to get the thing, and the fact that the first release bonus was excluded at this time. I think he looks more or less fine, as far as proportions and whatnot go, the only complaint I have on that end would be his feet, they look and feel kinda big on him. General look, sculpt, paint and all that is just plain stunning. He is beautiful to look at. Quality control is not where it should be on a line like this though. It took me forever to get Haruto to stay attached at the waist, and even now I'm sure he'll wiggle in half pretty easily just moving him around and posing him. And yeah, the Wizardriver likes to pop off, though mine isn't quite as bad as I have seen (outside of when I get a deep ab crunch going). Accessory count is great though, there is a lot in the package. And this is also my first Tamashii stand, and it is pretty good, though I do not like how the claw attaches to the arm, it feels like it is going to break really easily. The thing looks really nice though.

My only complaint with the figure is how I simply cannot get him to stay together. Any attempted movement of the torso causes it to pop off.

Yeah, it's really really annoying because it makes it..not fun trying to pose the figure. It's like with Fourze how I am always worried about knocking his switches lose and then losing them so I try not to touch him too much.

BTW, add me to the list that did not get a few dollar refund for my Wizard price. What is the point of preordering him if I am going to be paying MORE than what people who order him when he is instock pay?

The Strike Wizard Robe comes in a separate box and is pulled back at a sharper angle, it is meant, more or less, specifically for the kick strike.

It's supposed to come with the first run of the figure (like Ankh did for OOO TaToBa), but Amazon dun goofed and consequences will never be the same.

There's the standard robe and then the spinny one that comes with the figure. The Strike robe is different.

Oh, I did not know about that one. Well, I just took a picture of my box and emailed Bluefin. Granted, I could go either way, but I'm always up for goodies.

I shot them an email explaining the situation, once I get word back I'll grab the needed pics for them.

I think Amazon is going to get quite the lecture with all these people contacting Bluefin for missing Strike Robes.

Yeah, but we still get a second robe with him as is, and I actually prefer it to the strike wizard robe as it is useful for more than just one pose.

Just got my Wizard and he was missing the Strike Robe as well. Going to be sending Bluefin an e-mail but I may contact Amazon as well.

Bluefin CS told me they were going to get in touch with Amazon to see why they forgot these. So they should already be taking care of it on that end.

That's good, I did send both an e-mail to cover my bases anyway. Can't hurt to be safe.

So after messing about some, I figured out for around $62, I could get the figuarts for Bouken Red and Akiba Yellow on Amazon. Does that sound like a good deal? Or should I creep on HLJ?

I don't have as much experience as some other with purchasing Figuarts but the two you mentioned I got for a total of 4079 yen from HLJ (but from two different orders). I think it would be safe to say that creeping on HLJ will probably save you quite a bit of money. Haha. Now that would depend how long they'll be available on HLJ for, how long till they'll be on sale and whether or not you need them now or not. lol.

Yeah, I don't need them badly, especially Bouken Red lol. I'll probably check HLJ later on. Although I'll probably buy Akiba Yellow at some point before the end of next week.

It's not bad but you can definitely do better. If you really like the characters/designs and have some amazon credit then go for it.

For record, what is Bluefin's email? My Wizard arrived today and was lacking the strike wizard robe

So does anyone know why Wizard comes with 2 sets of holding hands? Both the right holding hands are near identical and one of the right ones has no trigger finger. The instructions didn't specify what they were for or if they did it was in text only. This is BoukenRed all over again.

Wizard arrived today for me as well. Tattered box, no Strike Robe, and the same QC issues as everyone else. I'm just glad to finally have it.

I think the ones on the bottom of the tray are meant for the gun. The trigger is at a slightly different angle from the sword, but it's a rather arbitrary difference anyways.

What qc issues? I had to apply some shock oil to the inner shoulder joints on mine (which was a pain) and the driver loves to come off, though I assumed the latter was just an issue with the toy in general. Mine's box was a bit banged up as well, and it even came in an oversized box from Amazon.

According to the instruction sheet, the holding things hand that has the trigger finger eeeever so slightly more closed... is for both sword and gun. >_< It's labeled hand #2 and they show hand #2 on both weapons.

Having tried both hands on both weapons, I really don't think there's any difference. Maybe you want the sliiightly more open one on the gun. But seriously there's so little difference it shouldn't matter.

I hadn't mentioned it yet, but yes my box was slightly banged up too. Despite the ridiculously large shipping box and packing material.. But then when they shove it in the freakin side of the box instead of wrapped by the cushioning, it's not surprising. Amazon's pretty bad at doing that. "Oh, let's stuff a whole shitton of this massive bubbley stuff in there so the customer thinks we're protecting it! But make sure to crush the item in a corner first!"

Hearing all this hoopla regarding the Bluefin Wizard makes me glad I nabbed mine from a con. :lol

By QC issues I meant the falling belt and weak waist joint. They might just be design flaws, but whatever.

As for the hands, I was just positing a guess. I have no idea, really. Maybe the left hand is meant for holding the sword/gun handle while the other hand is on the trigger.

That's a problem on mine too…apparently all the Wizards have that.

My Wizard comes apart at the waist like crazy.
