Busted out my SHF Black Haired Goku tonight, and…man he sure is a hella old figuarts.

The sculpt is perfect, no complaints there it's just real easy to make this guy look awful.

Still, I'm glad I went for him and passed on the Super Sayain version. Early on I decided that if I'm going to get any Figuarts of Goku it's either going to be this version, or Kid Goku from the original.

It's not that hard to get him into a good Kamenhameha pose and he holds onto the effect piece fairly well.

I just wish the piece looked a little more dynamic. I'm also deathly worried about breaking stuff on this giuy…specially his spiky hair the pieces you attach on the effect piece.

I'm hoping we get some renewal Fresh Figuarts. I really loved that team and Passion is straight up the worst Figuarts ever released (at least that I own). Yes 5 are the only ones I don't own, aside from Dream, because the quality of them is pretty poor too. Plus Mint and Rouge are insanely expensive.

I'd probably buy renewal Heartcatch too, but aside from the hair weight problems with Tsubomi and Erika, they don't have many problems.

Do the Precure Figuarts sell even remotely well enough to justify some sort of renewal? A big part of me says no, especially given a lot are exclusives and the hair being heavy doesn't sound like enough alone to warrant a remake.

I'm not sure how well they sell, but the early ones have more problems than simply heavy hair, loose joints, terrible balance, subpar sculpts, etc.

They sell better than the Sentai releases, at least. Even the regular releases maintain quite a high value on the aftermarket and the exclusives end up pretty expensive to track down (and unlike the Kyoryuger releases, not because there's little stock to begin with due to bad pre-order numbers).

I'm still not sure if there'd be enough demand for renewals, but considering they're running out of teams to release and many of the older ones have some serious problems AND were some of the more popular teams, it's at least possible.

After they release Suite and the Splash Star girls, I could see it happening.

I'm gonna be the stick in the mud and say I want them to renew KR OOO before Precure because SHF OOO seriously needs to be fixed.
