I'm not a big fan of Gundam, nor am I a fan of giant robot anime in general. Their storylines are often too complicated for me to understand, full of politics and technobabble that just combobulates my autistic brain. I saw Gundam 00 when it first came out, but didn't understand a thing that went on. I mostly watched it for Tieria. I did watch a little bit of Gundam Build Fighters, but it didn't really hook me, and I had to put it on hold due to real life obligations and other anime.

But out of curiosity, I did check out After War Gundam X, and wow! It's awesome! I didn't think I'd like it, but now I absolutely adore it! It has a simple but riveting story, great characters, a good soundtrack, neat twists, and doesn't dabble too deep into politics or technobabble! It's easy for me to understand! It does have some faults such as not expanding on some characters' backstories (Where are Tiffa's parents?!), but I love it for what it is. Also, Garrod and Tiffa are my OTP, and this is coming from a person who doesn't like shipping because of all the drama it usually starts!

If you aren't a fan of the techy stuff, G Gundam is also a good show
It's also a really cheesy and hammy and it's hilarious and awesome

I would say that's very likely. It was obvious from a while back that Try Burning's back would allow for pack attachment but in the show's context the suggestion has almost a 100% of coming from him. Hence his willingness to help Yuuma repair the teams suits. When it works out brilliantly I'm sure we'll see him grandstanding out in the audience proclaiming his genius :lol

I dunno. I took from the episode that Yuuma though it himself and then Minato realised what he was doing when he saw the extent of the mods he was attempting.

But meh to it. I'm sure it'll look good onscreen but as far as the writing goes it's just another ass-pull power they've added to their arsenal at the last minute so they can win. It just comes across as thunder stealing.

Not if you live in the US. Your best hope is looking somewhere like here for someone parting out the Star Build Strike. Or you could try to fix it with plastic cement.

Broken pegs are usually easy to fix, do you have a photo of how it broke?

I'm trying something different this time by shaving down the nub marks with a razor blade instead of just cutting them off with clippers. It's worked OK so far, but I did gouge up a couple of parts. Fortunately, none of them should be visible once the armor's on. I'm definitely going to try to paint the Mirage Colloids, they're just begging for the details to be brought out.

I'm also happy to say that the hands have none of the looseness issues that plague so many owners of the Wing/Seed RM kits. So far so good.

I would suggest drilling a hole and then feeding a metal rod of the same size as the peg/poly cap.

You might also be able to get away with using putty/cement.

You build the inner frames?

I've been curious why do some people build inner frames first? Is it easier to assemble the main frame first ten attach the whole armor and such?

I have nothing against it but curious since compare to a person such as myself who just does it by the manual.

Sometimes its just fun to watch you Gundam go from inner frame to fully armored! I don't think there is any other reason besides maybe making those who paint build a little easier.

I do it because it makes me feel like I'm building an actual mech suit. And it's cool to see all the inner workings before the armor goes on.

That was quite the experience. It started out crappy with massive runs on the arms and feet, but some of the stuff I painted later on like the pipes on the shoulders and the wing striping I'm pretty proud of. Being a no-grade, it was a pretty lackluster kit to begin with. Not counting the expected articulation and detail issues, there were a lot of molding defects in the parts and a lot of excess flashing where the mold halves met. But I managed to pull through with it, and I'm pretty satisfied with the result.

Just found a box containing an already assembled hg nu gundam along with a hg destiny gundam with some missing parts plus some other random spare parts being sold for 2 dollars at a secondhand store. Bought them right away and although I left the Nu gundam as it is, I did some customization on the Destiny..

Really surprised that, as opposed to the most recent OVA before The Origin, we're getting a line separate from HGUC. Hopefully this means HGTO could potentially expand outside of what the OVAs are adapting, since it seems more likely that they're only covering the flashback stuff. I'd love and Origin RX-78-02 and 01, plus a Gouf, which was pretty different from the original anime version.

I think we are getting a new version of the RX-78 independent of the Origin line. But it would be cool if we got an Rx-78-01 and some mod parts with it to give the new Rx-78-2 some cool asthetics and a cannon on its back.

I find it a bit odd they skipped standard Fenice and went straight to this. But I think this is still a good indicator that the original will happen too. Probably as some limited premium exclusive or something though.

I prefer the original, but I'll quite happily take either :D I guess its because as the more recent suit, if Felini shows up again in a future season they may end up having this show up again until they come up with some new variant.

Yeah, I wish it was the original Fenice. This one is too straight and angular, like someone went nuts with the line tool when designing it, versus the many nuanced angles and curves of the original.
