Although Faiz set up some impressive atmosphere for a TV show, it's a Toku show and so in my mind the super powers and action should be the primary focus. Kabuto got to the action much quicker, and much more impressive action, and presented a much more interesting world. Tendou is really cool as well.

Wasn't really huge on the Rider suit design though and I got really confused by the two belts and the belt swapping in the subway and gaaah.

By taking the comet back in time and causing it to impact with the Shibuya meteor erases Tendou's timeline, meaning he would be unable to save himself from the rubble and give himself the Rider Belt, because he wouldn't exist, as he is from a timeline where the larger meteor impacts Earth. Because that Tendou doesn't exist, he cannot take the comet back in time to impact with the Shibuya meteor, meaning the larger Shibuya meteor impacts Earth, and the God Speed Love timeline would be restored, meaning Tendou would go back in time and cause the comet to impact with the Shibuya meteor and save himself from the rubble, erasing his existence and preventing himself from performing those actions, causing the paradox to kick in once again. Given the fact that we have no records/confirmations of what would happen to the universe in the event of a time paradox, it is safe to assume that the timeline would change itself to allow for the continued existence of a universe/multiverse.

However, in the show, Tendou receives the Rider Belt from the Worm that killed his father. This could be a change the universe underwent to ensure its existence... or it's just ignorance of the movie.

One thing I, nor you, would have known watching the first ep of Agito is how slow it is. I'm talking snails pace. Barely anything worth anything happens for the longest time, and plot points take ages to develope. The villains motivation isn't even made clear until almost two thirds in. It tries to be a mystery, but the "let's just not explain or hint at anything for ten episodes" mystery. It sets some stuff up, then just sits on it without even reminding us which questions are being asked. Spoilers, It took until the last six or so episodes to reveal just the second most important plot element. Most of the show, realistically, is just Agito faffing about until he just randomly decides to fight a monster while the police stand around asking questions.

Also, minor spoilers, but Agito as a person has got to be the most disconnected from rider stuff of any main rider I've watched. When he's not fighting he's literally doing nothing relevant, only having spidey sense at literally random times to go fight the monsters, then goes home and never even acknowledges what happened. It's like his in-suit and out-of-suit segments are cut from two different shows.

It's like if you're playing clue and someone threw all the answer cards in the trash and you didn't find them for two days. That's not really a mystery.

I think you'd like Kabuto more. I, personally, hated it. I couldn't stand Tento Squeegy, or really anyone, to the point where even the cool suits couldn't keep me. But since you're in the market for action first, I'd say give it a shot.

I'm trying to think what he'd like, though. I hated Kabuto becuse I was looking for something he isn't. He likes focus on well-paced and relevant action, which Agito wasn't very good at. I think he'd like it even less than me. Granted, these are just my recommendations. I'm not saying don't/do this or this. Kabuto may be better for that.

But his Rider kick is intentionally simplistic. After the wild changes brought on by Hibiki (The series that came before it), they wanted to bring things back down and make it clear in a "Back to basics" sense (That's the best way I can describe it, since slowing time isn't exactly "Basic" :p).

Also yeah, the parrot zecters and dumb rider kick bug me. It'd be much cooler if it was just the zecter speaking.

The Delza Army infighting continues as we get to meet Secretary of State Wolf, who has possibly the stupidest-looking head ever. I spent a long time wondering why Stronger had so much hype, but these Delza episodes are all great and really show off why the series has such a strong legacy.

That's my main problem with Infinity; the rest of the suit is fine, but the head really needs something covering the top. But aside from that, the Infinity Arc was great.
