Homecoming felt like Iron Man Jr. than Spider-Man in my opinion. All of those gadgets feels like it ruins the point on what makes him Spider-Man in the first place. Also, Peter Parker kissing up to Iron Man and calling him "Mr. Stark" makes me cringe.
I also dislike Peter's classmates because I found them to be annoying and I didn't care about any of them. I like Homecoming when I first saw it, but I find myself liking it way less the more I watch it and think about it. |
Finally saw Captain Marvel, won't say much because I already wrote a long review today for something else, but thoroughly enjoyed myself, as I'm sure the 4 other people in the cinema did. A nice, emotionally resonant, superhero flick.

Select theaters will be doing full MCU marathons in honor of Avengers: Endgame.

Watch out everyone, Endgame's out and about and people on say, reddit or whatever spoiling the movie.
|
I haven't seen the movie yet, but it won't surprise me if Thanos does not get killed off. I could see Marvel using him again if they want to adapt Marvel: The End for a future movie.
|
I likely won't see the movie until May 2nd myself. I wish I could see it opening weekend but I'd rather not fight the crowds.

Avengers Endgame breaks China’s opening day box office record with $107 Million
This movie has a shot at beating Avatar as the highest grossing movie ever. |
A reminder folks:
PLEASE Spoiler Tag All Discussion Relating To Avengers: Endgame! THIS IS YOUR ONLY WARNING! |
So I just saw Endgame and uhhhhhh holy shit there are SO many good moments. I'm not even going to put them in spoiler tags as I know someone might accidentally click on them anyway. The beginning was too slowly paced for my liking and I had some other criticisms but there's still so much good in there and so much love poured into the movie that I can look past them

That is not dead which can eternal make profit. For in strange aeons, even dead characters will live if we can milk more dosh. Look how many times Superman or Optimus Prime have been axed. Maybe Endgame is actually secretly part 2 of 3 even, I don't know. Haven't watched it yet. |
With Marvel having all of their characters back, I could see a Secret Wars movie being made for their big final MCU movie.

6:30 CST last night for me, and the theater was packing in hard. Another showing slated for 10:30 had the line backed from end to the next. People gasped, laughed, cheered, and some even cried...HARD! I was however left with three BIG questions: - How did the Asgardians survive the exodus from Asgard!? The ship was attacked by Thanos and Co. almost immediately after. Did I miss something? - Vision's survival was a significant plot element of Infinity War...but he isn't even seen or mentioned here! Wanda only makes a rather oblique reference to what she lost. - How does Cap get to live his life over right into old age...if the mechanics of MCU Time Travel mean that affecting the past will NOT change the "future" that is one's past!? Did he marry Peggy? Does Cap have kids? They made the reference to the Agent Carter series with Howard calling his driver "Jarvis", meaning Edwin Jarvis! If they reference the Agent Carter series, that would mean it is MCU canon...but Cap living with Peggy makes one wonder if that should be taken as is! Did Cap surprise everyone by coming out of the ice early? Were there two Steves, one thawed and one not? Did Steve maintain a low profile over the years by living with though never formally marrying Carter...which makes the "Happily Ever After" aspect of the whole dance scene seem less than happy because they didn't enjoy time together as one would hope!? There were also Tokusatsu comparisons that were hard to ignore: - The whole idea of everyone coming back to fight a horde of "technically dead" villains...isn't much different from the original Super Hero Taisen between Riders and Sentai! - Going through time to get some magical, universe-bending Macguffins isn't much different from Go-Busters VS. Gokaiger when several members went through time holes to various points in the past while trying to simultaneously recover the special Ranger Keys that were central to the special! |

So did anyone spot Howard The Duck in Avengers: Endgame?

Ghost Rider series ordered at Hulu
Gabriel Luna on Twitter I really hope the latter means what I really hope it means. |
Just came back from Endgame.
I agree that the pacing could've been better but many, what a ride that was. |
So this is silly, but since Endgame is 3 hours, I think it'll be shorten by about an hour for TV airings. What do you think will be removed? Please tag spoilers.

The movie is still fresh in my mind right now but I can't think of anything that should be cut from the movie. Yeah, it was a long movie but those three hours went by QUICK. |

So, how many expect to see an army of Fat Thors and quantum suit Avengers roaming the streets this Halloween.

Heard of a new boxset of ALL MCU Movies up to Endgame: The Infinity Saga!
That virtually concludes what I know. Anyone else got something? |

I saw Avengers Endgame and I did enjoy it a lot more than I thought. Some of the stuff that happens in the movie was pretty predictable. I still think this movie was still a lot of fun nevertheless. I feel like this movie would have been a good way to end the MCU, but that is not going to happen. I'm not sure if my opinion will change or not during multiple viewings.

I knew that Iron Man was going to die and I didn't follow any news for this movie. RDJ's contract was rumored to end soon before Avengers 3. Black Widow's death is the one that surprises me the most.

Thanos VS. Multiple Red Ranger powers in new fan-film!
https://comicbook.com/powerrangers/2...game-fan-film/ |
If Steve choose to stay in the 1940s until the early 2020's (making him at least over 100), does mean that anything with Captain Americai n the MCU in the modern time never happened? How could something like Civil War happen if he was not around for it?

Like how Ancient One explained to Banner. No matter what Banner changed in the past, his personal history won't change, but the things he changes in the past will create a divergent timeline for the others |
So it seems a twitter account that leaked stuff about Endgame may have leaked some planned stuff for Phase 4 Feige has discussed films for Ms Marvel and the Power Pack but they're being heavily discussed as multi season shows on Disney+
The Black Knight is being discussed heavily internally, with Marvel seeing him as a potential New Avenger capable of having his own film and potentially a trilogy Marvel has big plans for Zemo, Ghost, Justin Hammer, General Ross, and the Abomination, and The Leader is being discussed as the main villain of The Thunderbolts, which is a planned trilogy. Here's the twitter account in question. Obviously spoiler warning due to the accurate Endgame information https://mobile.twitter.com/RogerWardell |
