Got my Omegamon today, great figure. Sculpting & paint is on point and the cape is fantastic. Yes it should’ve been pearl white, but it’s not bad looking. And it’s much better than a plastic shell. The cloth used feels high quality and it flows really well. The way it attaches also gives it a natural spread around the body so it’s not just hanging there. And articulating it with the clear arms included is super easy. And for people who were iffy about the clear ports on his back: It’s a removable piece. He has a hole in his back where you can attach the included stand, but there’s also a clear plastic piece with 5 holes which you can plug, that’s where the arms plug in.

Articulation is pretty good, the Wargreymon arm likes to pop off it’s ball socket because the swivel inside the shoulder is too tight, but it’s no real issue. I miss ankle tilts though, seems like he has none.

QC-wise mine’s almost perfect, I have one scratch on the Wargreymon head that took some paint off but it’s not too noticeable.

So yeah, pretty awesome figure. I really hope Tamashii uses more cloth capes going forward, a figure like Kiwami Gaim would’ve been 10 times better with a cloth cape instead of one of those stupid hard plastic capes.

The head looks different from the one that was announced last year. I wonder if the figure will come with three different heads? or if this will be a separate release.

It's good to know new Omegamon is really good. No ankle tilts isn't too heart breaking (His most dynamic poses are while he's in flight, anyway).

I have him on the stand anyways so I can get a more natural stand without ankle tilts and his toes are individually hinged so you can just angle those down, but I just expected them to have every bit of articulation possible :lol

And fair enough, aside from ankle tilts he does have everything he needs.

I'd kind of forgotten that it existed, but I stumbled across it at Barnes & Noble and just couldn't resist. Injustice is one of my favorite video games ever and I loved the Insurgence Harley design (although I'd have happily traded it for any version of Wonder Woman, since she was the character I played the most).

It's been awhile since I messed with one of these - do they not have the extending hip joint anymore, or is that just this mold? The articulated pigtails are cool and all, but I was expecting the hips to have a much greater range of motion. She can't pull off the air guns or crouching pose from her Super nearly as well as I'd hoped. Ankle tilt is highly limited, but I think that's just because of the boot design. The neck could be a lot better, too. That said, the figure is really awesome overall and I'm extremely happy with it.

Many SW figuarts collectors complements their collections with some Mafex figures due the size/appareance matters with some characters like Vader.

Yeah Harley is pretty great. Nothing for me personally, but still a damn fine looking figure.

It's kind of a shame that Tamashii randomly started doing Injustice way after the game hit the scene; this line was doomed from the start. And I would've loved for it to continue, I really like the Injustice designs. And considering how good Tamashii's big bodies look, I think something like Grundy or Doomsday would've been killer.

According to data from the Mafex's cardboard I think many people will prefer the Captain Phasma from that line, not only for its height but for the metallized appearance of his armor too.

With all due respect, you didn't really make that clear in your post though. You just posted the pictures without making any sort of comparison.

It's simple, the pictures I posted of Phasma have nothing to do with what I mentioned, the following images themselves are a perfect example of what I said about the Mafex figures...

I forget how long after the game's release they were announced, but I know it was still during its competitive era. It's a shame the figures came out so late, though, because there are a lot of other great designs that deserve proper plastic representation (DC did some of their own figures, but I've heard that their quality is pretty bad). Maybe we'll get lucky and Bandai will do some more Figuarts when Injustice 2 comes out next year.

Raven Figuarts would be nice, Nightwing also nice, Deathstroke? Ugh.... The things Bandai could've done.

I hope the Injustice Line will return when a sequel is out. We haven't had a new release since Superman.
