Wait, BEFORE the normal one? I'm not complaining, but it's kinda odd to skip the first Fenice. Especially considering this one did almost nothing in the show. All it did was kinda fight Kirara's Gerbera and participate in the final battle. The original Fenice was used throughout the show.


EDIT: They also revealed a P-Bandai HGUC Crossbone X-2 Kai, and a CCA version of the Stark Jegean.

Ended up canceling my Transient Gundam and Crossbone gundam as well as one of my Denail Gundam HGs for that MG Fenice. Gotta have that kit man, anything BF in MG I would love.

I think the guys who do the Talkin Toku podcast on this site are recording an episode Gundam related. The twitter account favorite my tweet guessing the how the next episode is gonna be "different" by being a Gundam episode.

Regardless of how this season was over all, I'm going to miss not having a Gundam show to look forward to on Wednesdays now.

Bah... you get halfway attached to the characters and then it ends. What the serious fuck. I didn’t know the show would end so quickly, that really made me lose any further interest in this.

But it explains why every strong or unique enemy got „killed of“ so quickly – there was simply no time to develop them further.

It's not that I didn’t have fun watching this, I did, but I would really like seeing more of this.

I agree. Though it looks like they're trying to set up a third season with Sei wanting to fight Sekai at the world tournament.

the problem is that characters got to get more fleshed out in the first series.

with Try, you have THREE main character storylines that each need their own time to develop.

Reiji and Sei are and exception because their storylines were one in the same, meaning other characters could get fleshed out more like Fellini and Meijin.

And that's a problem with Try in general. It doesn't really develop anything. Everybody has a character and a personality, but none of them really develop outside of Yuuma to be perfectly honest. Everybody else is the same as when you first meet them.

The problem with Try is it's pacing it was like the writers forgot they only had 25 episodes to tell a story.

Lucas Nemesis. All I got to say about that is that it seemed like they were building him to be this major super threat to both the Try team and the Academy team, and all he was really there for was to say "Look, it's someone from Build Fighters first season/show!"

I loved Lucas' inclusion. also, Lucas has his own personality.
unlike the female meijin, whose entire personality is just the third meijin, without the flamenco.

also, if they do another Build Fighters series,
don't do a team thing AND focus on all the characters.
because you either are gonna get a storyline with only the special snowflake of that team,
or you'll just get a whole team without any story to them whatsoever.

if they do a team again, make it about a group of misfits who make their own gunpla team, and focus on them.

Nah 49-50 eps they'd be fine.

Don't get me wrong, I wanted Lucas to do more than show up, give a short backstory (which you have to admit they pretty much did just to tie the two series together even more), and be in one full fight.

I wanted there to be something special with him and the Crossbone he had. They made it seem like there was. He is a great fighter. It just seems like it could have been much more.

I also agree that the female Mejin should've been more fleshed out. I'm hoping we see a battle between her and Fumina. She doesn't talk to much, but when she does, I can see why she is a Mejin. I think the only reason she feels slapped in is because she's never shown having a battle, but she is a Mejin.

I just think it's a tie between the two. I just wanted to see both of them do more.

You mean the violet one? I think that was just an easter egg reference to some obscure manga variant of the Destiny. I've seen pics of a P-Bandai kit with that exact color scheme, so it's probably appeared outside of BF.

They've probably done it but it would be pretty cool if Bandai made up a beginners customizing kit. Have it include markers, nippers, a file, a knife, and a good amount of Gundam parts. Something to just ease you into the art of gunpla customization.

yo, after seeing that Gunpla contest held in Japan, I doubt I would be able to come up with anything that cool.

best thing I can think of is taking a musha gundam, painting the white parts fark blue and sticking it in a fake tree by the torso, and call it "bujin Musha lotus state"

okay, my reason for not liking her, is that her sole purpose is to give Hoshino a rival. because can you honestly say that Hoshino and Shia would have had ANY connection or rivalry with each other if female meijin wasn't there to connect them?

and again, my main problem is that she just doesn't really have her own personality. she's just third meijin with boobs, and unlike her, we got to know the third meijin's love for Gunpla from before he was a meijin.
