Code Geass 21... I really don't like that they're throwing a cultural festival. That is 100% a Japanese custom, but this is supposed to be essentially a boarding school for Brittanians only that just happens to be in Japan... It doesn't make sense for them to have one and for some reason it annoys me enough to just not care about anything else happening in it.

Of course, we all know that Himiko's is coming too, though part me thinks they might actually kill off hideyoshi as well.

Either way, I am interested in seeing how the series is wrapped up. It seems odd to have another one of those episodes where there's not a whole lot of action, considering we're close to the series' end.

Well my watching more anime as of late continues. Picked up Jin-Roh (saw part of it years ago but didn't finish it), Sailor Moon Super S, and for the sake of trying to get through it at least one more time Neon Genesis Evangelion.

So when do I watch the Gundam 00 movie? Is it after season 1 or season 2?

so i am currently downloading Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha all 3 season and the 2 movie and see what i think of it.

The first season is kinda eh. It builds the characters, but it focuses a bit too much on Nanoha's civilian life. Honestly, you can just watch the first movie to know all you need to know from that season. It's when the series hits A's where it gets really really good. I had never seen such badassery from magical girls before A's.

Nanoha A's was downright fantastic in its story-telling and action. The movie version just makes it better by trimming the fat. If there's a series that showed just how brutal magical girl fights can get, it's Nanoha.

Episode 13 of Inazuma eleven, god damn this episode was intense.

I remember when my buddy first showed me Nanoha I was like "Not too sure about this...", but once I hit A's I feel i love with the franchise. Such great characters, story telling, and action scenes. It's just a shame the franchise is locked into doing manga and movies right now now, I'd kill for a new anime series. It's the lack of a new Nanoha series that made ma drift into Precure and Symphogear(though I ain't complaining about that :lol).

Considering that Symphogear, plot-wise, is almost exactly like S1 and 2 of Nanoha, it's definitely a good substitute. Though at least the next Nanoha movie is apparently going to be a new original story.

Dangit i can't find the end of episode 21 of Shakugan no shana!

Well Youtube decided to be merciful to me and work some, so I watched the first episode of Sailor Moon S1. It wasn't too bad. All the characters (who weren't evil) acted like real people would and I do consider that a good thing. Usagi seems like your typical lazy middle school girl whose only into pretty things. The action was uh, something. Yeah, I didn't really like the action of it a whole lot. The music was very nice and the voice acting wasn't all that bad, though Usagi's voice is pretty annoying.

Overall, not a bad episode nor a bad way to the start of the show.

So wait is the movie a retelling or set before

The first two movies retell the first two seasons, third one is an original story.

IIRC, the movies are actualy movies of the events from the original anime and A's. I saw somewhere there is a commentary track where the characters from the series watching the movies.

I really want to hear the commentary track one of these days. I want to hear Teana's reaction to Nanoha blasting the the ever loving crap out of Fate :lol.
