So I have started watching Gundam Reconguista in G. Is it intended that this show is basically a non-stop string of events where you have to figure out why all of this stuff even happens in the first place?

Like, I can come up with something myself, but is this really how the show's supposed to be watched or am I missing something?

Or do they start with that later? I only watched the first 5 episodes, but I'm still a little bit confused.

Which would be best to watch next for Gundam, Build fighters or Reconguista in G, I am hoping that either or one of them will be better than Gundam AGE.

I do feel kinda bad for Reconguista, maybe starting it at the same time as a new Build Fighters series wasn't the best of ideas.

G-reco had better not be Tomino's last Gundam work because that would be a low point. Get him to work on some ZZ movies or consult something. Anything but G-reco as his last work.

Yeah..... That doesn't make it any better. Bandai let him do his thing and we've got a show that could be worse then Victory Gundam, when Bandai was actually meddling with his production.

Nope. That's the great thing about it, it's a completely standalone series.

Just know that the early episodes really drag on. If you get bored, just skip to 15. It's a clip show that summarized the events up to that point, and then it's all awesomesauce from there on out.

Yeaaaaaah, the weapon modes are a bit too heavy for the Xiphos to use but I like it a lot! Buster Cannon mode my favrioute mode but I'm a sucker for BFGs.

Nope. Its its own standalone Universe/ show. No outside info required.

I love 00 because it refines a lot of Gundam's tropes into making sense within that universe, rather then just doing it out of tradition's sake. And it is very unique compared to a lot of other Gundam series.

There's also a movie that's a sequel to the series that I defintley recommend. And the best ending to any Gundam series, that I have seen in my opinion.

I seriously almost cried when I watched this, it's so beautiful. I feel like I've let Bandai down in just slapping together my Gunpla and after this video, I'm gonna put everything I got into each kit.

Gunpla is freedom, you don't let anyone down by doing what you want to do.

But there's always room to try out new stuff, and it's great if the video inspired you to do it.

I did too. Always wondered how kits were made, this is amazing.

Just go through Gundam 0080 : War in the pocket..... Christ that ending was depressing.

While that didn't make me cry, it does show me how the creation of a gunpla works. Just seeing all of those metal boxes goign into those big machines, all just to make those tiny runners is mindblowing to me.

I just think it's amazing that they hand craft the molds themselves. Usually a company has a machine carve it out. Not only that, but they willingly where the uniforms. It's just so awesome.

Try ended on a high note IMO.

Agreed. I've enjoyed the show week to week far more than most people anyway, but that episode was just pure fun. Really loved it.

That was a great ending. I love the Kamiki Burning and that Char Sazabi was friggin amazing. I really hope they come out with it.

That was an incredible finale. Just like the Gunpla Festival one from last season it came out as one of the best episodes of the show, as well as introducing a ton of brilliant designs that trump all the main ones that had appeared. Loved every second of it.

Kamiki Burning looked superb.

Not that surprising, since they're basically the Try equivalents of the Miss Sazabi, Crossbone Maoh, Fenice Renascita, and Gouf R35.
