At the time, it was the only way to get a Shining Armor and a Cadance in scale with the rest of the figures! I needed that castle!
If someone would've told me that a year later they'd release a Shining in the Favorites pack and a Cadance alongside an AJ in a 2 pack...I'd still get the castle, but I wouldn't buy it at first glance :lol

So i got both wave 8 and wave 9 versions of princess cadence from blind packs today. I figured one of them will have to be a queen chrysalis stand-in until i can find that elusive 3 pack she's in.

It's a really nice figure, and aside from not having her cutie mark on both sides, is painted incredibly well.

That's my Cadance alright! Pretty good rendition. Not sure if there are any better than that.

Thats the mold they used for the 2 blind bagged ones i bought.

Note that there is another blind bag Cadance that used the Celestia mold, though.

Aren't the Power Ponies closer to Marvel/DC superheroes rather than Toku henshin heroes? All I've seen is the uncolored animatic and the blink and you'll miss it scene snippet for commercials, so I'm unsure, though.

I was really disappointed when I found out they didn't do that.
I was giddy for the Japanese versions of the songs, only to find out that they were just subbed...

I wonder what is in the box of mystery? there are many possibilities of what it is. As my wild card guess I say it is either sea ponies or smooze. Being serious I would say something like the triforce but that's what the elements of harmony were like so I have no idea.
