It’s very merchandise soft compare to other anniversary hype.

Yeah. While Gokaiger had the Main Robo GokaiOh, the Secondary Robo GoZyuJin, the Legend Sentai Mecha in the form of MagiDragon, Dekamachine Patstriker, Karakuri Warrior Fūraimaru, GaoLion, and Engine Machalcon. They had 5 Legend Sentai Mecha and 2 Main Robos in the toyline. While they have, uhh, 4 Main Robos and some additional Mecha. But it also felt kind of lesser as there was no all-encompassing Gimmick. There were 9 Configurations for GokaiOh, Base Form, Magi GokaiOh, Deka GokaiOh, Gao GokaiOh, Shinken GokaiOh, Hurricane GokaiOh, Go-On GokaiOh, GoZyu GokaiOh, and Kanzen GokaiOh. But then, Zenkaiger didn't really lean into Collective Gimmicks as much.
And it doesn't really have much in the way of other pieces of Merch. It didn't have Sentai Gear Sets like how Gokaiger had the Ranger Key Sets. You have to jump through a lot of hoops to collect all of the Sentai Gears. Some are Candy Toys Exclusive, some are Gashapon Exclusive. However, none of the Legend Sentai Gears had DX releases. Which is how people want them released if they are overseas like in the United States of America (heck, anywhere in North America) or in Europe. Except for the expensive Metal Sentai Gear Set, there is no easy way to get all the Sentai Gears. Which makes collecting them all a chore. They should have released DX Sentai Gear Sets. Like 3-Packs, 4 Packs, 5 Packs, any amount of packs. So, there's your problem. Kiramager had a low amount of Mecha and Roleplay Toys. Zenkaiger just doesn't have a DX way to obtain all the Legend Sentai Gears.

I was hoping the Kikainoids would also get powerups.

I personally suspect they will. I mean, the "Final" Mecha was revealed a couple of episodes ago. Zenryoku ZenkaiOh first appeared in Episode 31. To put this into perspective, Kanzen GokaiOh first appeared in Episode 38. Unless this series is ending earlier, I really think that there has got to be Upgrade Forms for the Kikainoid Zenkaigers.

The final mecha toys for both Kiramager and Ryusoulger debuted in Episode 29.

Before it ends, what did everybody want to see in Zenkaiger?

Mostly a good series, really? I had a few fears since I found Komura's previous two outings slightly middling for me, though not too many as I'd felt Sentai had been on a strong streak recently -- so strong in fact that I was keeping my expectations a little low, because Kiramager set such a high standard I wouldn't be upset if the one after it didn't match that. So I was happy for it to just be fun Sentai shenanigans with maybe some wild anniversary stuff going on.

And that description still pretty much fits, but man; I didn't expect it to go as hard as it did! All my expectations were blown away, and just about everything I wanted to happen outside of some wild legacy crossover has happened. We got characterisation beyond what I expected; a sheer evolution and ramping up of Sentai's weekly nonsense and comedy; a new direction for the formula that makes it feel noticeably difference; awesome character drama thanks to Stacey... it's just been a great time, hitting every possible area I could want it too. I was expecting this to be the Sentai that couldn't live up to Kiramager's shadow, but now I feel the opposite because it's been that good!

Geez. That early? Didn't expect Toei and Bandai to release the final figure of that series THAT early.

But seriously, it feels like something's missing from Zenkaiger. I don't know what.
Maybe it's the lack of Mecha. I mean, we have had 4 Robos in the Series, the Two ZenkaiOhs, TwokaiOh, and ZenKaijuOh. I am only considering the DX Mecha Toyline Here and ignoring the Zenryoku Eagle. Because in the DX Mecha Toyline, we still don't have DX Mecha Toyline-Scaled Versions of the Battle Caesar Robo's Two Forms or Black JuraGaon. We have the Minipla Versions, but not DX Mecha Toyline-scaled Versions.

But, according to rumors, the First Donbrothers Robo will be a combination with Juran and the Mecha of the Donbrother's Red Sentai Ranger. The Donbrother's Red Sentai Ranger's Mecha will reportedly be both his changer which resembles the Geartlinger and its Bike Mode would resemble Kamen Rider Black's Road Sector. Which I find hard to believe. First of all, both halves having electronics is weird. Secondly, with how large the Geartlinger, the DX Juran would need a heck of a pair of stilts.

• An 8 member roll call with Stacaesar and Hakaizer joining the Zenkaigers.
• Someone using the Goseiger Gear to invoke Comprethunder.
• All the Gears used in the Geartlinger at least once.
• Juran reuniting with his family.
• Vroon finding new love.
• Some more backstory about Stacey's mother.

I'm hoping for at least two of the above, but I don't mind. Zenkaiger has been an awesome show and I'm grateful for everything it has done!

The only downside of that is now you have your expectations of Donbrothers to deal with. I'm pretty much in the same position though, but confirmation of a Black Ranger and the classic colors already has me excited!

I'm hoping that could happen around Christmas time, since sometimes a major plot point happens around that time.
