I actually have nothing to say about Kuuga, not because it's bad but because well...there is nothing inherently wrong with it. I'm only four episodes in so it has a long, long time to go wrong but those opening four episodes have been extremely solid and great fun.

Episode 5 of Kuuga was kinda meh...he turned blue and could jump high but his punches became weaker. The most unspectacular form change ever?

Actually, with the way every gate has been a totally unlikable asspackager, I really kind of wish Wizard would let the jerks rot. Also man, literally every non-Wizard character is pain. Like what the hell what the hell.

Some of them are likable but more often than not they are total douchebags. At first at least.

Wheezart 9: Hairytoes has a dragon inside him. He should get that looked at.

I like birdman better now that he's fucking doing something. Also he is an atorney at law. Shit, all he and Medusa do is piss fart around. Glad to see someone's doing something with his life. You know, with W the villains were running a business on top of being public figures, so it's wholey undertsandable why they didn't get into that many confrontations. In OOO, it was made clear that the Greeed were at varying power levels due to all their lost medals, so they also got a big free pass for slumming it and not fighting OOO that much directly. There were no main villains in Den-O. But here? I mean, why the hell have these two chumpstyles not gotten directly involved before now? Birdman has the flimsiest of flimsy excuses, but what about Medusa? If birdman schooled him that bad, they could both kill him instantly. If she's so powerful and intelligent, why hasn't she won? Stupid villains, I hate stupid villains.

Medusa does nothing for the entire series, I think she has three extremely brief fights and they all take place in the first quarter of the series. After that she spends the rest of the series just standing around with a face like a smacked arse. Phoenix is even worse.

Honestly in general Wizard has really shit villains, with most of their human halves being far more interesting than their monster halves and very few of the Phantoms have a particularly interesting fighting style or power which is only made even more obvious and disappointing by the sheer flamboyance of the two main riders.

There is nothing funny I can twist "Medusa" into.

I was gonna call her Bargain Bin Betty because of her "outfit" but it doesn't roll of the tounge very well.

Still, she's better than Wise Ass who's this big bad who just sits in the shadows doing somehow even less than birdman and Medusa.

It's because Medusa needs to stand around pouting.
We can't have an episode pass by without that, god forbid.

That is kind of the thing with Wizard, it's so loud, colourful and fun, so when you're watching like five episodes a day it's easy to be swept up in the thing and look past a lot of the flaws. But then the more you consume of the show, and the more you have to look back on the more you realise just how flawed a show it is.

I mean don't get me wrong, I love Wizard and I will defend Haruto to the gates of Hell but it's far, far from a perfect series and there are some pretty glaring problems that should never have existed in the first place.

Anyone that says Medusa does nothing for the series hasn't watched the last 15 or so episodes.

I agree Wizard is a flawed show, but most series are. I cannot say there is a single Kamen Rider series that does anything flawlessly. It is impossible for any series that is 50 episodes long to be flawless no matter how great the end product is as a whole.

Watched Den-O Final Countdown. It was fun! I like how they set up it as the final movie, but they still have a billion more though. As alwats, seeing all the Den-O forms fight at once is great. And hey! The main villain actually had some sortof motivation, even if it was a small one. The other Den-O villains were jusr sort of villains just 'cause.

Koutaro...eh, I didn't really care for him or his Imagin, who was just sorta there. His rider form was cool though as were his interactions with Momotaros. That scene with Owner bicycling while they played Rocky-esque music was amazing.

Pretty much everything important she did happened in the FIRST fifteen episodes.

Yeah, if anything she's been doing it MORE since Sora took centre stage :lol

Yeah she really is quite irrelevant , its a shame really because she seemed quite badass in early episodes and far removed from Japan's usual pigeonholing of female characters. Oh well there is always next time.

Episode six of Kuuga was a return to form.

I love how much carnage the villains are allowed to enact before being taken down and Kuuga got his first weapon. The actual weapon was pretty unspectacular to be fair but honestly most of the action feels pretty lacklustre when you compare it to all modern series can achieve. So I try my hardest to just enjoy it for what it is.

Wee-zerd 10: Flame Dragon looks... not that great. The red coat is a lot, especially since there's a lot of silver and black detail around it. Also his helmet looks a little too much with the big crest. The crest I like, just combined with the large red sections with the silver lines is a bit eweuw. Also also think it's pretty dang early for an upgrade. Also x3, God damn that driver just gets more annoying each day.

I'm pretty sure I have the storyline about the Section Zero guy and the kid figured out. But at least this gate isn't a crotchhoarder to Wizard like the rest have been.

And may I just mention how generic and unfitting the music of this series is? Hardly atrocious, but it's just so... blah. I like Kamen Rider music generally, but the themesong and fight music of Wizard leaves me cold.

If you don't like this one you are going to hate Land Dragon.

I'm not gonna like any of the dragon forms. They're easy to figure out, just change the primary colour and the shape of the head. It's not the colours used, it's the placement and quantity. Also, the coat really doesn't help. It works for his base form I guess, but I really think they should've ditched it for the power-ups. It has too much going on now.

They also have different gems and gem patterns. Splitting hairs, I know...

Watched Episodes 15 and 16 of OOO, more awesomeness and more background. Loving the characters more and finally got to see Birth.

Yep, because trying to turn her sister into a Phantom sure meant nothing...

I guess I just see more potential in Wizard than you guys do at the moment. Sometimes I think we are watching two entirely different shows. Nevertheless, we'll see though by the end. It all could go to waste.

And 2 episodes suddenly equal 15?

I said over the last 15 episodes. How about watching her battle Phoenix? Her constant betrayal when it comes towards Gremlin?
