I'm kinda worried they wont, I love the series so don't think I'm hating for the sake of it, but were practically on the final leg of the series Now and there is so much left to do and explain. I really don't know how they're going to do it all, or at least do it all satisfyingly.

Well, we're 36 episodes in, and most series run for 48-50 episodes.
So we still have a possible 14 episodes to explain and resolve various story arcs, and at 20 minutes each, I think it's possible to do so without seeming rushed or disappointing.

We have to get Mayu back, explain the Sabbat, the purpose of the Philosophers stone, Wiseman, The White Wizard, kill of all the main villains and I'm sure there is stuff I'm forgetting. If they plan to do all this is 14 episodes, no more slapstick comedies with irrelevant side characters or there is no way you'll get all this done.

Well, Mayu's return can be tied into revelations of the White Wizard (Since she's actually spent time with him, not just given a belt and some random girl to take care of), the only "Main" villains left are Medusa and Sora (Since, unless Wizard pulls an absolutely retarded move and introduces another villain higher up than Wiseman, we can assume he'll get axed in the last episode), so killing them off shouldn't be difficult or time consuming (Unless they want to pull more twists this late into the game).

But I agree that the slapstick will have to take a much reduced role and the time focused on asshole gates will have to take a backseat if they're gonna want to explain the likes of the Sabbat, Koyumi, and the Philosopher's Stone in a fulfilling manner.

Considering the importance of the white Wizard to the Wizard universe, I'll be kinda disappointed if Mayu's return episode is shared with WW's back story, they both deserve their own mini arcs like what Sora got, but then that'd leave us with less than ten episodes for everything else. Each villain needs a few episodes each to be killed off in as well, unless Phoenix is gonna get the best death but the most awkwardly plotted but that'd be stupid.

So that leaves what, like five episodes for Koyomi, the Sabbat and the philosophers stone? Yeah, no. Especially if they want to continue to focus on the useless characters.

Well, there's also the possibility that the White Wizard, Koyumi, Mayu, and the Philosopher's Stone could be tied together (Not all 4, mind you), but something like the Philosopher's Stone might be directly linked to, say, Koyumi's entire story arc, possibly killing two birds with one stone.

And while I agree the White Wizard is too important to share his time with someone else, but it could work, maybe?

Mythos stuff, like the Sabbat and the Philosophers stone could be split with important back stories, I suppose. But I don't think any important villain death or character back story should have to juggle time with the other and if they do, I doubt either area will satisfy.

Episode 7 of Kuuga was spectacular, he got another form change and although he changed colour, that isn't all they did this time. We were introduced to some new villains, all of which had much better suits than we've seen in the series so far and the action returned to that visceral and destructive awesomeness from the first ep.

On the other hand tvn's sub of the episode wouldn't download and the other subbers were shit, so I barely understood half of the episode.

Green Kuuga is my favourite Kuuga! Episode 8 of Kuuga was a surprisingly dark and heavy one, dealing with grief and the contemplation of suicide. Everything about this was spot on...minus perhaps the most important part, the lead performance. I've never seen someone look so bored by the death of a loved one, or the concept of suicide. I swear she was almost yawning at times. That aside though, another great episode to a series I am very much enjoying.

Watched episode 17 of OOO, Akira Date intrigues but I do love Eiji, Gotou, and Ankh so much.

I liked Date. I heard a lot of people love him to bits, and there's a lot of people who hate him. I found him likable but not incredible.

I need to see more of him before I make my final decision, he's interesting and threw a curveball in the series.

Oh, totally agree with you here. Date is okay but I don't feel he's the incredibly awesome person people often make him out to be. I much preferred Gotou as Birth. When Date returned as Proto-Birth I thought they'd struck the perfect balance.

Speaking of him and secondary riders, Accel was a character I was certain I wouldn't like. He ended up being one of the better secondary riders to me when all is said and done.

That's because, despite having the same general personality traits as every other secondary Rider ever (Needlessly antagonistic, loner, always angry, etc), he made it work by not being a total asshat (Willing to work with Double in more than just fight scenes and etc), having an extremely sympathetic back story, and having a very satisfying story arc resolving it.

Is Kamen Rider Kabuto worth watching? I'm debating on watching it.

Well, to be fair, have you had a negative opinion on any Toku you've seen? :lol

I wasn't hot on it,it had a cool world and cool characters but it was also slow, unfocused and awkwardly plotted. Plus the action scenes were all flash, no depth and extremely repetitive.

To be fair though I could only stomach six episodes until I was bored to tears, it may well have opened up later but I ain't got time to push through a series I dislike to possibly get to 'good' episodes that may never happen.

Is there anyone subbing Kuuga other than MCS and TVN?

I really love this show but I don't love the idea of the villains speaking in code, when I'm not watching a TVN release I feel like I've missed half the episode as the villains have long conversations while the show provides no hints as to what they are talking about, I may as well watch the whole episode raw. I know thats the point but why make so much important information about the villains inaccessible to your audience? It literally changes everything about the villains to have the Grongi translated, and in a good way, there is nothing throw away in their dialogue exchanges, it's really weird.

And sadly TVN have only subbed about quarter of the series, MCS have done it all but without the Grongi translations so I'm basically missing out on half the show and some of the most crucial dialogue and plot details. Intended or not.

Granted, I've never seen an episode with the Grongi translated, so I can't confirm this.

Well the intention, as far as I can tell, is to have the Grongi shrouded in mystery, so you learn things about them at the same pace as the heroes. This seems like a great concept but some episodes can literally have a good five scenes of interaction by the Grongi, all in their code with no hints at all as to what their conversation is about. These aren't throw away either, these interactions can take up half the episode and youre just sat there unable to follow these scenes and are given nothing to take away, so what is the point?

I can understand that. I never watched much of Kuuga, so I haven't seen an episode where almost half of it was Grongi, but I can see where it can be annoying.

Exactly, you're not supposed to know what the Grongi are saying. When you are, they talk in Japanese. The rest of the time it's either meant to be a mystery or understandable through context. Knowing what they're saying actually spoils a lot of the plot much, much earlier than it would normally. Even the original Japanese audience didn't know what was going on until the dvds came out with the code for deciphering Grongi. The scenes were always meant to be more about atmosphere than exposition.

Is TVN really translating the Grongi? Because unless it's an alternate script that is really stupid and completely goes against what the show was trying to do.

Yeah the DVDs were released with a booklet that had all the Grongi translated.

Part atmosphere, part mystery. It wanted you to know that the villains had a plan, but not what that plan was. Kuuga was kind of a weird show with stuff like that.
