YES! Sailor Moon Crystal confirmed for Crunchyroll in Australia! I'm happy! :D
But it really is sad that so few countries are getting it on Crunchyroll. :( |

Failing that, just send Cap through it as his shield can take on anything but really a bit of wind shouldn't have almost killed Iron Man, come on. |

Well my recent jump back into the medium I once worshiped continues as I start reading Gantz and continue to work on Sailor Moon and Evangelion.

ZZ Gundam episode 3
I see the bad guy in this episode went to the Maximillion Pegasus school of manliness. I was just waiting for him to say," Haman Karn, oohohoo!" Judou isn't half bad with the Zeta when his enemies don't know how to do jack shit. And his sister looks like different character but I don't know who. The comedy is starting to show up more but it hasn't gotten on my nerves yet. Episode 4 Oh my god the clothes that Juadau and his friends are wearing are so 80s. Like, trying to be hip 80s, not dressed normally 80s like at the beginning of Zeta Gundam. I felt like nothing was accomplished this episode. Just more Zeta and whatever that mobile suit fights are and the kids trying to protect it. I'm starting to like Judau a little bit. Man, this show treats Kamille like he's fucking nothing. When Fa and the shitty kids got Kamille a wheelchair the show didn't seem to give a shit. "Oh, don't mind the awesome protagionist of the last show, we had him brain damaged so we could write in a new ace pilot protagionist, even though we could have done it with Kamille on the team." No fuck you. Kamille was my favorite character in Zeta and they didn't have the balls to kill him at the end, so they neutered him. If you want to kill him then FUCKING KILL HIM. Good god this should have stayed as a second season of Zeta now that I'm thinking about it and angry that Kamille is doing jack shit. |
Since I dropped Disk Wars I checked out the second Space Dandy episode and it was....like a bad parody of the first episode, honestly. I don't mind silliness, that was half the reason the first episode was so fun, but I can't stand when humour is forced into places it doesn't actually fit. And it's especially frustrating in a show that is as gorgeous as this, that it feels the need to undermine genuinely wonderful moments for the sake of cheap juvenile humour. I'll give it one more episode.

So is Gundam Build Fighters good? I might check it out after I finish Problem children are coming from another world, aren't they?.

I got to meet Asuka while continuing to watch Evangelion. She is most definitely the c*** she is made out to be.

Probably the big three examples of recent times of that shit is Attack on Titan, Durarara!! and Bakemonogatari. The last two especially are just hipster garbage and the only merit is showing off how hipster you are that you actually sat through that nonsense. |
That's why you gotta get on Gundam 00 man. Pretty good show made in the last 10 years.
You didn't like Attack on Titan? I haven't seen the full series yet but from what I have seen of like the first 4 or 5 episodes its good. Asides from the story itself, I don't see anyone could hate AoT because it was made in the best possible circumstances for a manga based show. |

It tried to be an atmospheric mood piece but was simultaneously much too juvenile and too damn slow to achieve anything other than sending me to sleep. |
yea Attack on titan anime i dropped the subbed in ep 4 and dub in ep one just could not get in to it. the manga on the other hand i am really like and the fact that i love show it work better as a manga. so i am hoping the 2 anime film that retell first and second halfs of the anime do it for me

Modern anime is hard for me to get into, mostly because I find a lot of the animation crappy, character designs seem to be recycled, and not a lot of the stories seem interesting. The only modern anime that I really like that came out in a slightly recent time is Sword Art Online. A lot of what I watch is just the old stuff because that's what I grew up on. Anything from the 80's-2009/2010 is what I enjoy the most, though the later 2000's are a little few and far between in series.

Up through episode 6 of Gurren Lagann. I'm definitely enjoying it, but not as much as I expected to based on what several people I know said about it. So far, it hasn't felt like it's gone anywhere and episode 6 in particular was frustrating because it was basically an extended flashback. I've seen plenty of anime with flashback/clip show episodes, but this is probably the earliest one I've ever seen only six episodes in. I'm hoping it'll improve as it goes though, and I certainly don't dislike it. I was unsure about Steins;Gate at first as well, but it ended up as one of my favorites by the time it ended.

So Asuka continues to make me want to jump into the TV, put a gun to her head, and pull the trigger.

Again, it wasn't technically a clip episode since the bathhouse story was still there, but it felt like one to me with the overly long recap scenes. |
Yes but, like I said, that isn't the intended version of the episode. For whatever reason the episode was censored (no idea why, because it honestly isn't that bad) and the cut portions were filled with segments from the previous episodes.
You need to watch the version titled "There are Some Things I Just Have to See!!", not "Sit in the Hot Tub 'Till You're Sick!!" |
So watched a comedy yesterday that I finished today due to it being only 12 episodes called Chu-Bra very funny seirses about a female underwater obssest girl. It was really funny. I have now started watching bodashues space pirates.

Not that Im sure anyone else will care, but I've begun my months long journey to re-watch every episode, movie, & special in chronological order for Dragonball, Dragonball Z, & Dragonball GT.
I've waited many years but I think knowing that 8 months from now my free time will disappear has spurred me to do it. I know it will take me some months to watch them all, but I know once my baby's here I won't have any free time at all :lol |

ZZ Gundam episode 5
Could we tone down on the comedy a tad please? Are we doing this shit again? The clumsy Gundam vs Grunt suit first fight thing again. We dod this for like 3 episodes and now we're doing it again. At this rate we probably won't leave the Colony until episode 10. Fa piloting the Zeta Gundam was cool. But again, NO FUCKING KAMILLE. I watched the Blu-ray version of this episode and damn does it look clean. But at the same time, it dates the animation a lot more. Episode 6 Finally a badass fight! And plot progression! That wine guy was the perfect way to integrate comedy into this episode. It didn't make the villains or the heroes seem incompetent this time around yet added to the story of the colony. Good job Tomino. You ghotta be fucking kidding me. These subs call Kamille "Camille Vidan". Are you fucking kidding me? |

I'm going to be honest, when it aired I only saw Death Note up until the part where he lost him memory. I missed some episodes because I was busy or something and never came back to it. It just showed up on Netflix earlier this month so I powered through it again. I felt the back half was just boring (after L died) and the ending was terrible. It's still fairly popular, correct? Am I missing something? |

Fucking Chickens man. And nice Bandai logo on the crates there. I see we found a third of the ZZ Gundam. And a beauty of a woman to go with it. |
