Wasn't really a slap fight, but that argument was mostly because in later MMPR seasons the Yellow in show was a female body type, whereas in most all of Time Force, we saw the male styled body type. Even if Katie was a girl. Id rather have more screen accuracy than anything.

I agree. I can see Bluefin making female versions ala MMPR/Zyu again, but Id really not want them to do that every season.

I'm disappointed that an unarmored MMPR Green Ranger isn't going to be included with Armored Black Ranger as that would have made more sense then hoping people will still care come next year's SDCC. The last of the Zyu/MMPR Rangers is coming out this month (out in Japan already), and there's still a MMPR high right now. Next year...might not be so much.

As far as the voting for what team to be Figuarts... It's a hard choice. I really love Time Force, but In Space and Zeo are also good teams I recall in their own rights.
I wouldn't be surprised though if Zeo wins given it was the direct show immediately after MMPR and perhaps fans of the original series might still recall Zeo before they maybe stopped caring about Power Rangers. (As in before Turbo really killed a lot of the series fandom before In Space brought it back somewhat)

And Lord Zedd being a Figuarts Zero, it could be cool...if we get a poseable S.H. Figuarts Goldar to go along with him to grovel at the guy's feet and then pick fights with the Red Ranger.

Hoping, but not likely. We could hope for a Con exclusive like the Samurai pack, but other than that, it'll likely be the usual formula for releases.

I can see them doing male/female bucks a few times to gage demand. Plus it'll likely come down to popularity of that PR season. But yeah, you can count on the source accurate figure coming out in every line.

...and if you want one, get the Japanese one. I see your point, but both options should be available.

Honestly does it even matter if we get two versions? Just release the figure with the sculpt it has in the Sentai since Power Rangers uses that sculpt for the action footage. Regardless of different porpitions and body parts PR fans will see it as a girl and SS fans will see it as a boy. It just comes down to the character you've seen and preferred. If we can deal with Maya actually being a boy in the suit despite the obvious change I think we can handle it in toy form.
