well to be fair the supermegaforce suits, and the legend suits even more so, put a much higher strain on their physical stamina and there energy, hence the need for normal megaforce suits. they only use the stronger suits when needed.

They do no such thing. Its just a lazy hamfisted way to explain horribly abrupt cuts from scene to scene.

They did. They mentioned that a few times after that as well.

Note: This is the first episode to feature the writers of "Power Rangers Samurai". The episodes of Megaforce and first 5 of Super Megaforce were written by the cast brought in for Super Samurai.

I think at least for Time Force, since they went back in time to 2001, their powers "remained" in the past somehow or were stored in the morphing grid, or something!, so that later someone or something could use them as legendary ranger modes. I'm grasping at straws here!

They did mention it. But its an in story excuse for why they keep cutting from suit to suit. The way they've cut the footage dictates the existence of that line of dialogue. Its all on the editing team.

Plus, no has mentioned the Dino Thunder thing where Ethan was doing that one thing to the morphing grid and he stumbled upon the SPD powers. It was on a DVD or something.

EDIT: It was on the Dino Thunder Volumes 4 and 5 DVD's, and was called "Before it Began".
