I don't know any doctor that is only 24 years old. He is not old enough to have gone through all of the years of school required. I can understand if he is currently doing his resisdency, but then why would they let him take care of people on his own? But he is not old enough to be a full blown doctor yet, and as such, he should not be having his own patients.

Either way, it doesn't matter because he is an utter moron. I guess the only positive is he already has more personality than Ghost.

He's a student doctor. Assuming he went to university at the youngest age he would have been studying for six years, more than enough time to be issued patients under some sort of supervision. Nothing in this episode suggested otherwise.

Castellan Zilla works in a hospital and has said that's the case. I also work in a hospital and know that's the case. You on the other hand don't, and so don't have a clue what you're talking about.

I used to have student dentists work on my teeth as a kid - it was cheaper and a "real" dentist would be on site should an emergency occur. Never did.

Yeah, I am currently going to work on being in the medical field, and they allow you to start volunteering and learning the basics by age 14 for a high school class. But I don´t live in japan, so maybe they start at 18, I´m not sure.

Oh well, it doesn't matter. I'm going to be watching the episode a second time away, so I'll keep an eye on them saying that then. I was more focused and shocked on how unfunny and bad the first half of the episode was.
