Space Godzilla got a buddy to destr...er, play with today. :D
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...s/DSC04673.jpg I'll mess around with Mogera in a bit. |
Got to actually play around with my recently aquired Mogera, and snap a few pics.

I couldn't find any real QC issues with this figure. Tamashii seems to be getting better with those type of problems. If there was a complaint, while having a good deal of points of articulation, movement can be somewhat limited. It's more of a design flaw with Mogera, than a QC issue. Still, you can get some nice poses out of him. I really like the interchangeable parts that allow for his flying mode too. One of the best things about Mogera are the accessories. The missiles and effects for them are pretty neat. The smoke plumes coming out of Mogera's hands have some nicely sculpted details too. There are a number of options on how you want to display him given all the accessories. I'm glad I picked him up! Now, just waiting on Little G to finish the players from G vs. SG! |
Would anybody else buy Diorama/Building set pieces for their Monsterarts figures if Ban Dai offered them?

It seems SH Monsterarts Mothra was released early into the wild. She was chillin' in a bush in front of my house.

Another pic from SDCC:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...explosion3.png I want this diorama! I can see KG's tail on the left, and Little G on the far right. Hope we get some new reveals soon! |

I'm using the S.H. Monsterarts in a 1:500 scale due to several reasons. 1- I've found plenty of ship models in this scale to do dioramas 2- The t-gauge scale train (1:450) is damn close enough 3- Herpa planes and airports are in the 1:500 scale. This one also offers several buildings, people and more so this isn't so hard to come by. Not as much as whats offered in 1:700 but still quite a bit. And since the figure is about 6" tall that would put him about 1:500 (if you went by the 80 meter height) he would be 77 meters tall in this scale. This is what I found for a run down on his height changes over the years Showa series era 1954-1975- 50 meters tall (164') Heisei series era 1984-1989- 80 meters tall (262') 1991-1995- 100 meters tall (328') The S.H. Monsterarts so far have featured monsters from this era Millennium series era 2000-2004- 80 meters tall (262') |
