This trailer is a vast improvement over the first one. The tone is completely different. I have no idea how good it'll be, but it at least looks like it will be entertaining.

Look at the bright side. Even if you don't like the movie. We could have another Transformers situation, were the movie brings in money that helps get stuff you do like.

What I get out of this thread is that if this movie isn't a Fantastic 4 style bomb it'll still be very polarizing in the fandom.

Ehh, for myself my only complaints at the moment post-second trailer are:
- Goldar still looks like a colossal statue sponsored by Kraft Cheese, basically it looks like it will be a gargantuan brainless cheddar cheese putty that tries to mimic the Megazord
- The Megazord component-wise, meaning If they want it to make the face look like Ryukendo go for it but I still would have liked it to combine technically like Daizyujin/Megazord at least
- The non-Red Rangers' helmets still are not distinguishable right off the bat
- Bill Hader deserves better than to voice that techno-organic Junji Ito-esque looking thing

Other than that, I liked how they are presented so far. They have convinced me that much as to consider it a casual matinee during the weekends if I decide to get off my butt. The fact that Zordon is now a gigantic etch n' sketch mural of Malcolm's dad? Ehh, I can live with that. I won't make a fuss about that anymore.

Only things I didn't like were the Goldar and Megazord designs (Still think they look lazy/boring) and the song choice...it's such a played-out song to choose for a movie trailer.

Other than that I liked the tone a lot better than the first trailer. Less "trying to be gritty" and more "dumb action movie". Which is what I want, basically. I'm not expecting this to be good at all. I just want to go in, have some fun and a few laughs and that's it.

I'm surprised people who don't like the trailer haven't commented on how AWFUL Jason's actor did for the battle cry at the end
