I'm glad they're doing more Showa Riders, since I would like to see more Showa and maybe early Heisei shows. Now if only we could get some Sentai...

I'm still waiting on B-Fighter. The license cannot still be locked up due to Beetleborgs right?

Unfortunately, yes! Any tokusatsu that was used in a Saban adaptation was part of the Hasbro deal. To clarify, Hasbro technically has the rights to VR Troopers and Beetleborgs, which means the series they're adapted from, Spielvan, Shaider, Metalder, B-Fighter, and B-Fighter Kabuto, are all in Hasbro's hands just like Sentai in terms of Western distribution. Don't ask me about Black RX, cause I don't know if Masked Rider was part of the deal or not.

That's a surprise. I wasn't sure how/if Generation Kikaida's license would impact Toei's ability to put up their own version. Nice that there's an alternative to those ludicrously overpriced DVD sets.
