Sane here. looking at the Pokémon designs so far, I like them better than Black and White's Pokémon.

I heard a guy say that if you think of Chinese dragons and how they're kind of I guess wispy...it could be a dragon type. I hope his guess is right, I would love a dragon type Eevee.

Eevee is overrated. Can we please just get one Eevee Evo for each type so we can stop caring about that thing?

Also, the Pokemon design this gen looks fine, but just on par with Gen V's, imo.
Granted, we haven't seen much, so there's probably a diamond in the rough that just needs to be revealed.

Why does everyone hate the Fire/Fighting Starters?
Sure they have four weaknesses, but they all have 6 resistances.

I've been playing Pokemon for like all my life and I still don't really understand the technical side to it all. However recently I met a big fan at University and he goes on at length about this stat here and this figure here and I'm just thinking like, isn't turning Pokemon into a numbers game both missing the point and making it less fun?

After just two, the novelty of it being a starter's type combination wore off. It's a desire for something different that leads to the hate.

It's not the mons, it's not the type specifically, it's that they've given us them 3 times in a row.

To put it in perspective, Meganium and Sceptile are the only other two starters who shared a typing two generations in a row.*

Aired 15 years ago (16 for Japan).

Back at home for the weekend, so I decided to carry on my adventure through Pokémon white 2. Its just as hard as I remember it being but I forgot just how badass my team was.

Fucking hell this Driftwail Tournament thing is a pain in the arse. Pokemon White 2 isn't hard so much, but you're basically forced to grind between every story point which really draws the game out to extreme levels of boredom. I don't mind challenge but I feel like I'm forced to stay in each location a hundred times longer after its worn its welcome.

Do you have it set to hard? Because that was pretty easy for me, i completely sweeped through it.

I never grind in a Pokemon game :lol
Gives me more challenge. Makes Gym battles and the E4 more tense and exciting.

Dunno it's whatever the default difficulty is as I've not touched it. Like I say it isn't hard, but each new story opponent seems to be at least five levels ahead of me somehow.

The level spike on the E4 on White 1 almost made me quit the game.

It's always so gratifying to come out of a difficult battle with 2 Pokemon left on the ropes.
Unless you're nuzlocking, in which case it's terrible.

It's fun if you win, infuriating if you lose.

My battle against Ghetsis in White 1 was so much fun!
Because his Pokemon were about 8 levels higher than mine (Like I said, I don't grind), so I had to rely on my Siglyph's Tailwind attack to give whichever Pokemon can score the type effectiveness thing a fighting chance to win :lol

Man. It sucked when I lost, but I was enjoying it.

I actually breezed through the battles after the E4 because I had to grind my pokemon to stupidly high levels and everyone after the E4 had easily exploitable weaknesses.

The E4 were generally about 5 levels higher (Since there was no real escalation because you could choose the order).

I think I only lost once because I derped against the Ghost user.

I remember fighting Ghetsis in White 1. That Hydreigon almost took out my entire team.
